  • We took a 5 day rafting trip down the San Juan. Our second camp site at Hanaker had an amazing hike up the canyon wall to a look out over the river and canyon. Very hot hike, but the views were amazing. If I did this one again, I would probably go in the morning. The raft trip itself is pretty easy, only one Class III rapid. The house was perfect in almost every way. Rooms were comfortable and spacious, the home is clean and well kept. The location is great. The only thing we struggled with was insufficient pans to cook. There was not a large frying pan and only a small griddle. Overall it was a perfect home for our party of 8.

We came to Pagosa Springs for a girls’s cousin trip and had a blast. There was plenty of room for the five of us and we all agreed that the house was comfortable and very well prepared with supplies and equipment, and we would love to come back again.

Beautiful Townhome in an Excellent Location!

Everything was very clean and all what we needed. My only suggestion is to make sure the VRBO listing is correct. We did not realize it was a townhome. Also our instructions said trash pickup was on Tues and was actually Mon. Also there needs to be more seating on the outdoor upstairs and downstairs patios.

Family Fun

My wife and I came with 3 kids ages 3, 7, & 15 with my 80 year old father in law. The property provided plenty of space for everyone and the proximity to the River 200 yards away and a park the same distance made it so easy to enjoy the outdoors. We will be staying here again.

Near the park

The property is not what I would call wheelchair accessible the bed in the downstairs bedroom was so high we had to take out the box springs. And the curbs in that subdivision are square so if you were in a wheelchair you could not get off the property by yourself. The upstairs was extremely hot so bring a fan with you as there were none in the unit. Other then that it was nice. It would have been nice to have some patio funiture so we could sit outside some. Property was clean and quiet.

Very nice place

This place is nice and close to town. Lots of shops and good restaurants near by. The drive to Wolf Creek is only 25 minutes away. Would stay here again!!

Location location location!

This property is close to the heart of Pagosa Springs, a few minutes walk from the San Juan River and a 10 minute walk from the center of town! The kitchen is well equipped, comfortable beds,clean and cozy, friendly neighborhood . We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to others.

proximity is perfect

The location was excellent. The park was a great addition and actually attended a concert. Downtown was close and the park had pickleball courts. The kids tubed down the river and over the falls. Fly fishing was good. Hiking was great and actually did Alberta peak.

Wonderful Property

This space was beautiful for our family: Two grandparents and two couples with young kids. . The space is well furnished and stocked. We enjoyed the kitchen. The kids loved the park next door - it has a fantastic kids play ground, plus soccer and pickle ball. The adjacent river and wildlife was beautiful. We took advantage of the scenic nature walk ( about a mile) on a path for a family stroll to the hot springs. We could not have been happier. Next time we will take advantage of the fact that some raft trips end at the park next to this property. There is something here for everyone. The house was super clean. Lots of space. JUST GREAT.
