“The decision to stay at Magpie Inn for our getaway was the absolute best decision we could have made. Everything, and I do mean everything, was the confirmation of our dream to have a restful time together. The location was close to downtown Mineral Wells. I came with my hiking group to visit the new Palo Pinto mountains to honor our friends and avid hiker who passed away . Just exactly what we were looking for. Very clean and friendly host . “The property was clean and well stocked. It is cozy. We were out and about most of the time we were there and we ate out. It is only 3 min from the main downtown drag which was convenient for us. Our event was at the Crazy Water hotel. The only thing we did not like was the unit had a mini split for ac. The main unit was blowing cold air at our heads while sleeping. We ended up sleeping with our heads at the foot of the bed and it helped a lot.”
