Great location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Probably 4th time weve stayed there. Always nice and clean located walking distance to Pier Park. Only complaint is the 2 king size mattresses could be upgraded as they were very uncomfortable

The condo was nice. The pictures were a little deceiving. I wasn’t a fan of the carpet. The condo had a little bit of a smoke/musky smell, I’m sure from the carpet. View was beautiful.

Relaxing

This unit was very pleasant and clean. Love the access to other roads with out getting stuck in beach traffic. Elevators were very quick for as far as we stayed up on 22. This unit is great for any last minute get seats as well. We had to come down for one of our daughter’s surprise engagement.

Our stay at Aqua

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we like the Aqua. Had a good experience when we stayed 2 months in 2023, not as good of an experience in 2024. We moved units due to the work they were doing on the outside of the building, where we wouldn’t have been able to use our balcony for 2 months. Our new unit was not as nice, it was not as clean as we would’ve liked. The appliances were dated, carpet was worn and needed cleaned, among others things that were not that clean. The staff is very good and wants to make your stay comfortable.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Refrigerator wasn’t cooling. They brought us a spare to use and the maintenance man was very helpful on that but after we called to report the refrigerator, we started the oven and got an error code. We told him about it while he was there and he tried to fix it but couldn’t. He said they would come back the next morning but no one ever did. We had just purchased $200 worth of groceries and couldn’t even cook some of it. The door stop ALWAYS fell down when we opened the door and it wouldn’t stay up. The neighbors were continually smoking pot so every time we came into the room we had to deal with that until we reported it. Security was great. It took about a day but they finally took care of it. The filter on the keurig was gross so we just took it completely out and used it without a filter. So with the fridge problem, no oven, the nasty smell of marijuana and an aggravating door stop, we dealt with it and made the best of it because it was supposed to be a nice vacation for my daughter and we weren’t going to let those things ruin the fun. The view was amazing.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at Aqua where we rented Unit 2207 for the second year in a row. Rented this unit for half of our family and it was large and roomy and well kept where myself and wife not able to be on the beach but have prefect view of the beach and watch our family enjoy the beach. We rent two condo’s to fit our families. Very good views of beach, city, and pier park and listen to the karaoke being sung at Shuckums Oyster Pub and grill across the street.

Wouldn’t stay here again

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view from the condo & location is perfect. We were there August 7-14. However, the check in process is atrocious & getting anyone to communicate with there is almost impossible. We pulled up at 3pm & notes were posted saying the lobby was closed. Many other families didn’t know what to do either. The lobby was never opened during our stay that we saw. We called security and they said come by the pool to get the garage print out. We received a letter days before our stay saying half the elevators would be down. Never did we think the situation would be so bad. People crammed into every inch otherwise you’d never get an elevator. Sometimes it took 30 minutes. We never saw anyone cleaning anything! So then we had no way to get in our condo! A lady sitting in the hallway (building manager) said we should’ve received an email with the code....but we never did!!! She said she had no way to get the code!!! We called & emailed & it took quite a while to get the code. By this time I was really regretting booking at Aqua. We got in & looked around I opened the bedroom closet & the first thing I saw was the extra pillow with a huge red stain on it. I don’t know why they put that back like that. We were each given one towel for the week. The dryer took over an hour to dry one load. The beds were the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept in. They were on a metal frame no box springs. The bedding was like having nothing. We went to target to buy bedding for all 4 beds & extra luggage to take it home. Blankets on kids beds smelled like mildew bad. The first night there 3am the smoke detector started beeping & woke everyone up. We had to go buy new batteries. Pool snack bar options are just a microwave hot dog/corn dog. The lady was very nice there but it’s only open 12-5 daily. There’s a new hotel being built right next door so there’s loud construction all day. We’ve traveled many places & for the price to stay here

Gorgeous!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo 2207 was perfect, clean, gorgeous. However the resort itself had an issue with the elevators that caused a lot of frustration and inconvenience for our family. We would wait 15 minutes for an elevator and then sometimes ride the elevator for 15 minutes stopping at every floor!! The elevators were always crowded. Staying on the 22nd floor it isn’t taking the stairs. Two of the elevators were broke and needed repair. The resort management company told us it was going to be 3 weeks before repaired. We loved the condo! But I would be very cautious about staying there again due to the elevator situation. Staying on a lower level would make taking the stairs easier if an elevator was not available. The condo was beautiful. Just takes a LOT of patience.

Pristine condo unit and amazing view!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved all the extra space and cleanliness of this unit. The accommodations were just as expected. Loved having a washer dryer in the unit. Loved having a door in the master to access balcony. The dual sinks in both bathrooms were great. Our towels and bed linens were nice and fresh and clean. A couple details could be added to the description such as where to find a cart for loading/unloading and all elevator locations. We thought there was only one until the last day, we noticed another elevator just around the corner from our unit. The front desk was closed right before 430 although it says it is open until 5pm. We did not have a code to get into our unit so we didn’t get into the unit until almost 530. I had to speak with the answering service to get the information I needed. We were disappointed our unit did not come with the umbrella and 2 beach chairs. For two chairs it is $50 a day and a little less if you were up for more than one day. We recommend getting out to dinner by 530 or you will be waiting well over an hour to eat. We learned our lesson after the first night glad we brought a bunch of food to fall back on and have for lunches. There are also a few closer restaurants if you walk in opposite direction of the pier where it will be less crowded. There is an ice cream shop connected to a condo building just down the block as well.We weren’t too happy to check in at 5 PM and check out by 9 AM. It’s crazy that Guests have to pay the same amount as the full days. Could have at least used an extra hour on both ends, which would seem more fair. Overall our stay was wonderful at Aqua other than a few glitches and unknowns once we arrived. I could see why it is a very popular and highly rated condominium complex!

Two pools with a snack bar with plenty of refreshments for the kids and adults. Condo had everything, all the necessities were provided. I will be bringing my family to this location again.

Also, when we arrived there were food residue on the light switches in the kitchen...one smear looked like chocolate. The kitchen floor had some food stains that was easily wiped up and both bathrooms the toilets were nasty on outside and the bowl needed to be cleaned and bathtub in master was not clean with black mold in the stopper that would drift into the tub if running a bath.Luckily we had brought cleaning supplies and had to spend about an hour and a half cleaning. Very aggregating since there is a huge cleaning fee that is charged. We have stayed many times at the resort and never experienced the place not cleaned as it was this time. I would hesitate to recommend even though in the past that is where we loved to stay.

The kitchen floor had some food stains that was easily wiped up and both bathrooms the toilets were nasty on outside and the bowl needed to be cleaned and bathtub in master was not clean with black mold in the stopper that would drift into the tub if running a bath.Luckily we had brought cleaning supplies and had to spend about an hour and a half cleaning. Very aggregating since there is a huge cleaning fee that is charged. We have stayed many times at the resort and never experienced the place not cleaned as it was this time. I would hesitate to recommend even though in the past that is where we loved to stay.

Nice layout but had to do the cleaning myself

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the layout of the condo and mostly enjoyed our stay. The bed in the master bedroom was not comfortable. Also, when we arrived there were food residue on the light switches in the kitchen...one smear looked like chocolate.
