LOVED IT

The condo was very efficiently equipped with a gorgeous view. The resort is a favorite for us as it is within walking distance or a short drive to everything.

Great stay

Great stay. Frequent communication. Easy check in. Very roomy. Was doing some updates to floor in kitchen we weren’t aware of. Highly recommend and would book with them again. Condo had all you need for a wonderful stay.

Breathtaking view and beautiful condo

Loved the condo. It was clean and beautiful. It was more than enough room for me and my family. It has an excellent beachside view and spectacular view of Panama City entering the room. We went on the sky wheel but the view from the condo was sooo much better. I wished we could have stayed longer. It felt like paradise. We will definitely be back :)

The location was great for the air show. The furnishings in the livingroom could be more comfortable. The ice maker did not work and did not get repaired even after it was reported.

Fantastic view

Great view. Condo was very very nice and it was very clean. No problems with RealJoy. Easy checkin and out. The draw backs were: The beds were hard. The ice maker did not work. The wind howled around the end of the building which management can’t control but it ‘whistled’ through the front door., it needs weather stripping badly. With that said I still give the unit a 5 star rating.

Loved it!

We had a wonderful experience in Calypso 1809! We fell in love with the room and the complex both, and will absolutely be repeat renters. The ice maker in the freezer does not work, but that was not an issue for us, as we just bought a single bag of ice and used it for the week. We only used the cups, as we ate out for most every meal, but the kitchen seemed to be well stocked! The bed in the master bedroom is VERY comfortable and the condo is exactly as advertised. The view absolutely cannot be beat! One delightful surprise were the box fans that were placed in the closets. My husband and I had already decided we would buy one when we got to PCB, as we have to have a fan to sleep. It was so nice to not have to go shopping for this! The location is wonderful, and we just cannot recommend Calypso or RealJoy enough!

Everything was great regarding the actual property (view, description of interior) but the ICE MAKER never worked from the time we walked in the door and the refrigerator took 2 full days to cool to an acceptable temperature to keep milk cold. I called the property managers on day 2 (AM) of my stay and they did send maintenance after calling multiple times to get a real person. Maintenance did come (HOURS after calling) but only left a note that stated "Refrigerator. Left you some ice trays if you need them". Ice trays. Completely unacceptable. I called back (again numerous times before I spoke to a person) and was basically told "Oh, well, I don't know what to say. I'll call maintenance again". I never heard nor saw maintenance after that. We spend over $25 on ice for our interior use (not our beach coolers) just to have ice when in the room. Definitely will NOT be staying at ANY property again associated with Real Joy. As a side note, the couch in this unit is much like a couch I would think would be in a prison lobby. Resembled a concrete bench and the towels were stained with what appeared to be makeup when we arrived. Highly disappointed.

No air-conditioning for 5 days

When we arrived, air-conditioning wasn’t working. There were small fans running throughout the condo. I contacted air- conditioning repair company listed on Property Management “what to do” guide. They came and said unit was newly installed (not by them) and that it was not functional. I contacted the Property Manager and explained situation. They said they would contact installer and get it taken care of. Notified next day that parts were needed that had been ordered. Waited days for parts to come in. On the 5th day without AC (outside temp in mid 80’s all week) owner contacted Calypso after claiming he just learned of situation and asked them to come fix it. They came up but were also unable to fix it. They contacted the install company and were able to get it fixed on Day 5. Install company claimed they had never been contacted and no parts were ever on order. We had requested a different room or a refund when we first realized there would not be any air-conditioning. That was not an option. We were offered on day 4 a small discount for our inconvenience. So disappointed because we love this Area and property. Hope this will not we any one else’s experience because it really ruined our trip this year.

Perfect view and location

The property was clean and the decor was as described in the listing. It is located perfectly for walking to pier park. We would definitely stay at this unit again. Suggestions are a table of some sort on the balcony and a mattress topper on both beds, the mattresses are kind of hard.

Best location in PCB!

We will definitely stay in this condo again, although when we arrived, it appeared that no one had dusted in a while, and the second bathtub was sandy/dirty. Not a big deal considering all the pluses this property has, mainly that it's so close to Pier Park and at the end of the building where it's very quiet.
