OK stay in Panama beach

We loved the condo. The mood lights on the ceiling, and the old-time digital video game machine was unique. The premium channels on the tv at no extra cost were a bonus. The balcony furniture was beautiful & comfy. Well supplied, well decorated, clean, good location, comfy bed, communication was great. Realjoy gets an A for effort. However, I do not recommend long-term stays during the winter months. The building management doesn't seem to care about coordinating renovations/maintenance projects around travelers for their convenience. They expect you to deal with the grinding, drilling, hammering for weeks at a time. They should disclose this information to travelers before they decide to rent or not rent out to travelers for that time period. Nobody wants to listen to loud noise for weeks...nobody.

Wonderful family vacation!

Condo is right off the elevator. We never had to wait for a elevator more than 5 minutes during busy season. The curtain over the bunk bed area was wonderful. My daughter slept so good. There is led lights in the living you can change color, my 14 yr old daughter loved that. The arcade game was mine & my husband's favorite. We enjoyed the sand toys and buckets and beach chairs that was in the condo. The host checked with us everyday to see if there was anything we needed. The wifi and tv with the streaming apps was great. We didn't have to buy any ice we used the ice maker in the fridge. We have no complaints and will try to get this same condo next year when we go back.

dont be afraid to book based on previous reviews. it was great

Overall our stay was better than expected. The room had everything we needed, including crab hunting stuff and sand toys. It was plenty clean for us. It was updated and decorated nicely. It could use an overall deep clean in the corners, around vents etc, but did not impact our stay AT ALL. The basics had been done well. Sheets were fresh, floor had been mopped, bathrooms and kitchen cleaned just fine. Do not be afraid to book here. After all, you are wet and tracking sand everywhere the whole time anyway. It is by no means horrible for a beach condo. we loved the space vs. a hotel room. The kids LOVED the arcade, the board games, and the curtains that closed over the bunk beds. The walk to the beach was very manageable (bring a folding wagon), the included chairs and umbrella were wonderful. The elevator wait was like any other elevator I have experienced. The rental company was prompt every time. I loved that the condo was close to everything, but away from the pier traffic and hustle. Go to Toms for donuts, its right up the street. We hardly used the pool because the beach was so nice. If you want a 5 star luxury experience, maybe don't book here. But if you want a fun family place with room for the kids ( ages 5, 3) , with all the things you need, and then some, and don't mind all things aren't perfect, this place is the best! I would stay here again. It was affordable, better than a hotel in a lot of ways, and we had a great time. DO NOT be afraid to stay here. pros* short walk to the ocean, fun pools for kids, washer and dryer, ice maker, smart tv with apps and logins for each, arcade for kids, plenty of space for family of 4 cons* the balcony door doesn't lock, the corners and vents and such could use a deep clean, the garbage disposal doesn't work, none of which mattered to us.

Vacation

We had a great time! The location of this property is perfect! The amenities are great…but the resort could be updated a tad. The condo was nice, but read the reviews. It could be cleaner. When we arrived we noticed a very big brown stain on the mattress protector. I sent a message and didn’t get a response until the next morning. Sheets and a new protector were dropped off for us to change the linens on the bed, which kind of irritated me. I didn’t feel like we should have had to handle the dirty protector, nor should we have had to remake the bed. The kitchen sink was dirty, and a griddle was left out on the stove. If you are looking for something clean, keep looking.

After we arrived to the condo and settled in late Saturday night, we noticed the pull out couch sheets were stained and dirty as well as the sheets on all beds had sand on them. The floors were dirty and sticky. House keeping busted in while we were still there at 8:30am when check out is at 10am. The balcony door did not latch nor lock. Other than that, it was as advertised.

Sweet sweet family vacation

Our room was great! Clean, well furnished, perfect for our family of 3! Literally the only complaint was how long it took to get an open elevator. Which I had read on other reviews also. Just not enough elevators for the amount of people staying. Thank you for a great stay!

Great condo, elevators are slow!

Loved the unit! And real joy was super easy to communicate with and answered all the questions! Game unit was perfect for 5 yo boy. Kitchen and bathrooms and porch furniture all amazing! Bunk beds were definitely bigger then standard and could easily sleep a small adult/teen. Awesome cooking non stick pans. Smart tvs! Great location. Only complaints: there were no blankets/comforters for the bunk beds (just bring your own), long walk to your car, maybe it was packed but it was very hard to find pool chairs at all (sometimes had to put all of stuff on one little chair or the ground), and the elevators take forever!!! Would wait over 30 mins and the stairs were slam packed with people and their floats. But overall loved it and would be going back!!

Fun stay !

Loved the room and especially the arcade game . We played that every evening. We added an additional night and the process was very smooth. I do wish they would’ve had a salt and pepper shaker like most do, but it wasn’t a big deal . The people below us smoked and nothing was done about it. We probably should’ve asked security rather than the place you get armbands, etc . Overall great trip ! We would stay again ☺️

Just okay..

The layout & games are a fun idea. We had to put them up because our toddler wanted to open up every one of them, especially the ones with small pieces. It was nice having the TV with all the apps available. The cons: The sheets were dirty & with hair all over them. We requested more sheets, but they were dirty & had holes in them. At that point we just felt more comfortable buying sheets ourselves. The floors smelled horrible, as if it was mopped with dirty water mixed with throw up. Just overall sticky. It felt as if the bathtub & dishwasher were leaking. I had to keep a towel down in both places. We will definitely be looking at other places to stay.

Great location, cleanliness could improve

Location is excellent. The room was very updated. The cleanliness is the only negative of our stay. There is dust bunnies attached to the wall and cabinet below the air duct in the kitchen and mold growing around the caulk in the hall shower. Besides those 2 things the overall stay was great.

Loved the room we stayed in. Had so many games for my boys to play and awesome view of the ocean. It had everything we needed. Only downfall is the TV in the living room did not work, but other then that our stay was great. My family and I would definitely stay here again.
