The resort was nice. The condo was extremely nice and in a safe and central location. The only thing is that I was unable to check into my condo until 5:15 p.m.

The kitchen was not fully equipped for cooking. The pans are all lopsided and don’t cook equivalently. There were hardly any spatulas and cooking utensils. There were no pot holders. The unit stated they have bowls and Tupperware type dishes. There was one Tupperware bowl and one mixing bowl. The unit said there were beach towels, there wasn’t one in the unit. The washer was full of black mold. The unit was dusty and dirty, we were looking for a wristband that we misplaced and while checking under furniture we found RX pills under the dresser. The photos appear to have a connecting bathroom to a bedroom and the room with the bunk beds, actually there is no connector to the bedroom. The front rooms were very hot since there is no return air vent but it helped that the unit came with 2 box fans. The patio furniture is not comfortable for relaxing and sitting. The hot tub in the lower pool area had a breaker issue so the jets didn’t work. The lights in the unit kept flickering while the dryer was running. Walmart is directly across the street so an easy walk or drive. The beach access was nice, directly across the street. The pools were a nice getaway for those that needed a break from the beach. The elevators got stuck several times and would take hours to be back in working order. There are only 2 vehicles allowed per unit, any others have to pay 84 for parking at a public spot a half mile down the road. You can rent 2 chairs and 1 umbrella for 40 a day on the beach.

Check in was at 4pm, wasn't even gave a door code til almost 6 pm. We drove 8 hrs. With a 1 year old. Then had to play the waiting game. Very Frustrating. Then, the floors was Disgusting!! Our grandbaby was black from filth within an Hour of crawling.

Mold or Mildew in bathroom.

Very let down with our stay. In fact, I have never left a had a review before and doing so makes me sad. BATHROOM GROWTH My biggest concern was the growth of either mold or mildew in the bathroom. The shower head actually had thick black substance coming off of it. I then went on to notice what looked like mold growing on the ceiling. It was also around the caulking of the shower. There was also what looked like severe water damage in all the granite. Someone did come replace the shower head but that didn’t take care of all of the other crud festering. FRONT DESK STAFF They were the most rude and unprofessional lobby employees I have ever dealt with. It took us over a hour to get to and find our room bc they refused to help us or explain. We were told our host should have told us. Once you are in it all makes sense but the original first day of locating the condo was a NIGHTMARE. Our host also told us there were luggage carts. The desk staff said there were not and rolled their eyes. ELEVATORS At one point we timed our wait and we waited 46 minutes exactly for an elevator. Doing that with two young children was miserable. One elevator had puke in it for an ENTIRE DAY. The elevator situation is enough to render me never staying there again. Even if paid to do so. It put a damper on the trip having such a huge elevator wait time every day.Odd fabric device on front was door creepy. What I consider a stocked kitchen is very different than what they do. Ice Machine was no use

The stay was good. But found several electrical outlets that did not work when we plugged items into them. The master bed made loud spring noises when sat on and when you move while sleeping. A/c unit was loud. Master shower was nice but would more convenient with a detachable shower head with hose toAllow taller people easier cleaning lower bodies.But the unit was clean, kitchen items were sufficient.

Great Vacation Spot for All Ages

We have a timeshare in Daytona that was damaged by hurricane Milton and we had 3 days to figure out an alternate location. This place was very affordable and had everything we needed. The only down side is that off season begins in Sept so some of the amenities were closed. We will come here again!

My parents hated it

Our stay: 7/21/24 - 7/26/24 My overall impression was, fine. But my parents (mid 60s) hated it. We were pleasantly surprised with an early check-in. But were not in town yet. The lobby looked like a ghost town at 6pm and only had one luggage cart available. I read plenty of reviews that complained about the elevators, and they were correct. This condominium is huge! So the distance between parking garage, sluggish crowded elevators, rooms, and beach entrance was a bit too much for my parents. The room smelled like rotten eggs which we concluded was from the front loader washing machine. The a/c was struggling.

Belated graduation trip for Grandson

Check-in staff was great! Condo was as advertised, clean and as pictured; however the facility looked rundown in several places from lack of maintenance. Some areas were dirty and needed paint. Elevators were a nightmare with our unit being on the 13th floor. Advertised as a "family friendly" resort, but it was disturbing how many people were obviously drinking alcohol and exhibiting drunken behavior. My daughter said she was almost 50 years old and in all the many times we had rented condos in Florida, this was the first time she had smelled marijuana wafting from around the doors of the condos on the same floor as our unit. Very disturbing since our group was mostly teenagers 16-19. We will not rent from this property again, and would suggest to "families" especially ones with younger children, to look elsewhere.

My father is handicap and we waited 3 hours in the rain to get in our room and a hour of that past the time scheduled for us to check in. Then there were cobwebs in the ceilings, poor water pressure, and limited hot water.

Nice but needs some tweaks

First of all great room. Matched description perfectly. The room was not fully cleaned when we arrived. One bathroom had hair and other stuff on the floor. There was also no broom to sweep up whatever was on the floor. The ice maker to the refrigerator doesn’t work so you have to fill up ice trays all day long for ice. No ice machines on the property so that made it worse. Other than that it was a good place to stay.

Wonderful condo, elevators are a huge issue

The condo is exactly how described. It was beautiful and clean. Close to a lot of attractions. Beach was beautiful. The only reason why I cannot rate this condo a 5/5 is the elevators. Half of the elevators were down for maintenance at one time or another during our trip and with the amount of people staying at The Wharf, it was hard to get an elevator. We did take the stairs (13 floors) a couple of times due to the elevators being full. Would highly recommend the location and the condo if the resort could get the elevators up to par or add more to accommodate all of the people staying here.

About the worse place I’ve ever stayed at

The condo itself was great. But the location is very disappointing. The elevators 😡 and no ice on any floors. And if this place caught on fire or if the stairs had to be used at night. No one would find the exit signs cause none of them work. The parking garage being supported by Jacks. No thank you. And the people that work there rude. Very very disappointed. Will tell others about this place I wouldn’t recommend it to house animals

Great place!

The condo was great and had plenty of sleeping space for different families. Balcony view is awesome and the beach is only right across the street. Elevators do suck though so if you're ever in a time crunch leave a little early. (Has nothing to do with owner of the condo just the resort itself) I would definitely stay again.
