Would not stay here again

Shower door in master bath was broken, there was only enough hot water for 1 person to shower which meant the rest of us took cold showers every time we got ready to go somewhere, there was dirt and food and nastiness under the couches, it was not “cleaned” very well….it looked like they came in made the beds, replaced the towels and that was it, the floors were still nasty, counters were sticky and we seen several roaches throughout the week. Definitely not worth the money we paid and will definitely not return.

Family Vacation

The condo unit was very clean & beautiful. Location was great. We had a great family vacation. Only thing was parking spot on 8th was a little tight. Would stay here again!

Beautiful view!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! We had a couple of minor hiccups that were addressed promptly. We spent most of our time at the pool or beach, but also enjoyed cooking in the kitchen a few nights. We overall had a great time at this property!

Perfect view

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The only complaint I had was the sheet didn’t fit our bed and they brought us a new one that fit the very next morning! Very easy check in and check out!

A memorable family Spring Break!

This property at the Shores of Panama is a great find! The space worked well for a family of 4 (with two young children). We visited during Spring Break, so it was probably more crowded that it normally is, but the property (both inside and out) is very well maintained. Lots to do, and very easy to access. Definitely worth a return visit!

We'd stay again, BUT

This is a beautiful condo with an amazing view. I loved drinking hot tea on the balcony in the mornings and and night. The kitchen was well appointed and the furnishing were nice throughout. I agree with a previous visitor that the sheets are scratchy. Also, we had five people in our group, and we were only provided 5 bath towels and 4 washcloths. Also scratchy... luckily we brought plenty of nice beach towels and used some inside. As far as location goes, I think this is one of the best situated condos along the PCB area when you want to leave the condos and go to a restaurant in town or to rent a boat and go to shell island. But, it gets crazy crowded from all of the people spilling out from Pineapple Willy's. The pool area is beautiful and well kept, but the gym and ice cream shop were not great. The Ice cream shop was never even open. Also, the hottub is always crowded. Finally, the parking garage and elevator situation are not ideal. As a guest, you cannot enter through the gate with a code. Instead, you must wait in line and go through security each time. Then you have to begin the trek locate your parking spot. Apparently, the parking garage was designed by someone with a dark sense of humor because the spot numbers follow no order whatsoever. And there's no map or key available, so you know, good luck finding the spot because searching for your designated spot for an hour is just what you want to do when you get there.

Exceptional? Absolutely NOT—ADEQUATE at best.

First, to be fair, I’ll list the positives: The view was fantastic and the apartment was clean upon arrival. The microwave, stove, dishwasher and washer/dryer worked very well. The master bedroom mattress was comfortable. HOWEVER: Here is what made our stay very very disappointing. Overall, the apartment was shabby and lacked ANY warmth, charm or added comforts that we have come to expect with VRBO. We are usually thrilled and love to praise. BUT The sheets and towels were poor quality. No additional blankets for warmth at night. Just the very thin comforters. No natural lighting in any room except the room with sliding glass doors allowing for natural light. Felt like I was in a cave and we had to spend the majority of our time with harsh fluorescent overhead lights. NO cleaning products on site. No way to freshen up bathrooms or kitchen during our stay. Kitchen equipment was good if you were camping. Nothing more. The hot tub was packed with loud, rude guests; the fitness center did not enforce any dress code and we were disgusted by shirtless, sweaty men perspiring all over the machines. There is no bar or coffee shop as advertised (closed). Before we arrived, we were told that a new sleeper sofa mattress was going to be delivered b/c there was “a dent in the one that was there.” The dent was major, no mattress was ever delivered so the sleeper sofa was unusable. This place needs some niceties: “bells and whistles”. Maybe some throws for the couch and loveseat? Maybe a game or two for rainy days? A smart TV in the living room for watching Netflix/Amazon in the evenings?? This property is geared for college kids or people who just want a place to sleep and shower. If you are looking for a place that makes you smile and want to come back, THIS IS NOT IT. I hope others will not make the mistake we did (we fell for the “exceptional” headline) and that the owners and management people will put a little money and effort into making this a real VRBO vacation home.

Review

Great experience. The only drawback was that Property Management was not well versed in the parking situation. Told me I had to pay an additional $75.00 when there are areas throughout the deck that are marked as free. Would definitely stay again.

Phenomenal stay!!

This was our first time going to the Panama Florida area, and I got to tell you folks, it was an amazing and relaxing experience, the building is literally in front of the Panama City Beach, just go down the elevator walk out and there it is, we stayed at a condo on the 8th floor it was exactly what it was listed on line, clean all amenities and the best part was the amazing view from the balcony that faces the ocean, definitely will comeback
