Very spacious and clean

BFF getaway

The property was clean and as presented in pictures. We always enjoy staying at Laketown Wharf. The pools are awesome. Check in was seamless. We will definitely stay again.

The beach was across the street with many restaurants and shops near by.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a good time but disappointed in the management company. First, at no point did they inform of us of no golf carts allowed on the property (Yes we booked one and returned it, lost $400). Second, no extras of things like toilet paper, paper towels, or trash bags (and they want you to have all trash thrown out before you leave). The elevators at this property are terrible, too big of a complex for the amount of elevators. They have pool “monitors” to make sure drinks are not within 4 ft of the pool. A pedestrian bridge needs to be built from the condo to the beach access. And demanding only the parents to wear the bracelets is the dumbest thing.

I have stayed at LTW many times and was always very satisfied, but this visit I was a little disappointed. I was sent multiple codes to enter the room upon arrival in which neither worked. I had to call the property manager several times before I received a code that worked. Once again I entered the property the trash in the kitchen was overflowing and smelling. There were no paper towels or trash bags. We did not have any wash cloths or towels therefore I had to go and purchase some trash bags and wash cloths from the local Walmart. The sofa sleeper was broken the springs at the foot of the bed were broken and the foot of the mattress fell to the floor. The property management offered to send maintenance but it was beyond repair. I think the sleeper needs to be replaced. It took multiple times to connect to the Wi-Fi because we had several logins and passwords just like the codes to enter the room.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the resort is the ONLY thing going for it, and still has a lot of room for improvement. We arrived a little early and had the most difficult time getting in to the unit. The code provided in our ‘welcome’ email NEVER worked. I had to contact property management 3 separate times before we were even able to get in. The unit was dirty and not well maintained. Calls to management went unanswered. There was a safety incident during our stay (gunman? someone with a gun? never was explained) where we were advised to return to our rooms for an undetermined amount of time. I was never able to get in contact with the security on property, requesting a return call through the ‘answering service,’ where I was told that security would come around to inform everyone when it was safe to exit our units again. It has been FIVE days since the incident. We’ve since returned home and no one ever called or followed up on this. I was given the name of this property rental company from another reputable company we’ve used many times, elsewhere in Florida. I will never rent from this company again.

We loved this condo! Much bigger than the pics show! Had everything we needed for the week. The condo community was great! Pools were spacious, plenty on site restaurants to eat at, short walk to the beach. Across street from Pineapple Willys. Light/music show on the lake nightly was an added bonus! Couldn't recommend this place more! Host was amazing with communication all week and even sent us lots of extra info about things to do. Very detailed instructions about everything for the week which I greatly appreciated!! Will say I prefer a quieter side of the beach and this is in a really busy area of PCB so if that's what you are looking for you will love it! Overall amazing week!

Property worked out well

We just returned from a 7 week stay at the property at Laketown Wharf. As with any place, there were numerous good things and just a couple disappointing. Check-in was super easy. The place was spotlessly clean. The bed is very comfortable, and the size of the unit was perfect. Location was great - easy access to beach, shopping and restaurants. We felt very safe there. The owner was prompt and responsive with our few requests. There were just a couple things that could have been better. Note for you coffee lovers - the coffee maker is only a Keuring, so plan ahead. Also, the living room furniture (although pretty) has pretty much lived its life. The couch and some of the chairs are super saggy. We figured out a way to bolster them up and it helped. Overall, it was a great time away from the cold up north and we feel the unit gave us value for the money! I wish we could do 1/2 stars because I would give it 4.5, but because of the couple things noted, it doesn't quite reach a 5.

Clean room, good amount of linens provided. The quiet hours aren't so quiet. Not a problem for all but definitely noted. Good bang for your buck here, especially for families with children.
