Don’t waste your money on staying at the Shores of Panama. It’s ran down out of date and the elevator wait is horrible. Save your money and book elsewhere. We left a night early because of our neighbors being loud and obnoxious. Our return was disgusting, toilet paper holder broken, rust on patio, railing paint chipped, front door was awful!

Corner condo was great because it overlooked the ocean and not the pool. The condo was nice and roomy and clean. The pool area was spacious and nice. However, the personnel were rude and not accommodating and the parking and the elevators ruined the stay at Shores of Panama. They were horrible enough that all 7 of us adults decided unanimously that we will never stay at Shores of Panama again. We have stayed at many nice resorts in PCB that are very nice and much more convenient than Shores of Panama could ever be. It’s a shame because the pool and the condo we stayed in were nice but not nice enough to overlook the bad.

The condo was wonderful .. plenty of room for a family of 10. The view from the 14th floor can not be matched. We did come during the peak season so the elevators was a nightmare from beginning to end. Overall I would stay again because I loved all the security and even late at night coming back from the beach someone was at the gate wanting to see wristbands. What I did not like was the communication with the host. We had to leave 2 days early due to a family emergency and I tried to get all the details to get the condo ready for check out early and never got a response AND I was told we had a parking spot on the 6th floor which turned out to be just anywhere that was marked for regular parking. Which during peak season is a headache.

This place was perfect. The pool was a huge hit with my youngest and it is conveniently located to shops and places to eat. We loved it other than the elevator wait was a bit long. All and all a great vacation

Wonderful place to stay!

This place was amazing! One of the best views on the ocean. Everything was clean and kitchen was well stocked. Beds were very comfortable and having 3 bedrooms with 3 baths was so nice.

Great holiday getaway

We enjoyed the balcony looking out over the water, and the games in the cabinet were a nice touch! Thanks for hosting us and we may have to try the property again for a summer beach trip!

View Galore

On the whole a great place. The resort itself was very nice. Pool area fantastic. Beach amazing. The views were out of this world. The unit needs updating kitchen cabinets old and weredirty inside. C world.

Perfect condo

One of my best stays in Panama. Only bad thing was the elevators, the waits can be long. Also the unit parking is so tight. The wifi keep going out we had to reset couple of times for it to work but Overall Condo and location are great I would stay here again.

This condo was in very rough shape! A water stain/bubble above the living room tv, master bathroom toilet paper holder about to fall out of the wall, the floors/rugs were not clean. Pillow in master bedroom had stains on them. None of the TVs worked properly either very very slow due to poor internet connection/sound didn’t work and none the apps on the smart TV were updated so you couldn’t even use them if you could get them to load. Main balcony door very hard to open. And then the building being under construction was very inconvenient. We lost water our first day, the elevators kept going out of service. The parking garage is also a nightmare, there was no designated spot for the unit as described and the spaces are very very tight! The view and pool were the only really good things about the listing!

The people that works here are rude, we hated since the check in. Never staying here again never. Elevator full all the time. Pool and beach was nice.

PERFECT.

This condo was GIGANTIC and had everything we needed for our month-long stay in January! We've stayed at the resort before but this was our first time in this floorplan and with RealJoy. The management company was AMAZING. We may have been slightly high maintenance but they were SO responsive the entire time. Thank you!!

Family Paradise

The property manager was fantastic and immediately responded. This condo was gorgeous. We loved everything about it. Cooked meals as a family in the kitchen. Enjoyed the phenomenal views from the family room and the balcony. The guest rooms were all beautiful. I was pleasantly surprised with how clean the place was considering salt and sand do their thing. I would recommend this condo and I would definitely stay here again. For reference, my husband and I stayed here with our kids ranging from 9 to 24 between Christmas and New Years.

The unit itself is pretty. It needed maintenance on the washer/dryer closet, the patio door tracks, and a broken kitchen cabinet, which we did get a few days into our stay. The A/C unit temp is somewhat set by either the host or Shores of Panama and we found that a little annoying as we tend to get hot at night so beware if you like it colder in the evening. The cleaning company did leave more to be desired; we cooked a good bit and found dirty dishes in the cabinets. There was a good bit of wear and tear on all cabinet doors: cracking and peeling, specifically. We did enjoy the balcony! It was great to wake up with the water right outside our door.Shores of Panama is another beast entirely. The parking garage is a NIGHTMARE with small children and elderly: the “reserved” parking spaces don’t follow any set numerical pattern and it’s incredibly difficult to find the one that’s meant for your unit. No one enforces the speed limit in the garage so vehicles speed around corners and pay no mind to who’s there. It’s very difficult to find a parking spot during the evening dinner hours. Also, the elevator situation is bad enough that we’ll never stay there again. Our first night there we waited for an hour for a lift to our room and every subsequent outing required planning around “peak times” so that we didn’t have to wait as long. The pool was the highlight. Our kids went every day! Overall, the unit was nice but the issues at the condo were enough that we likely won’t be back.

Just ok….

The check in process is not the best or easiest.Security agents are not friendly at all. If you have family or friends staying at a different condo they cannot come in without a wristband which is not right. Guests should be allowed without wristbands since we have paid for the condo.

Good

The Condo was great. The place was beautiful with gorgeous views. The place was super clean with great decor. However, The Shores of Panama was not so great. 3/6 elevators were broken the entire time so it took us over 45min-1 hour each day to get on the beach. Parking was very inconvenient as well. But these complaints have nothing to do with the great stay in the condo itself. The process was smooth and easy. Thank you!

Great stay!

Our unit was just as pictured! Very clean and beautiful views of the beach from all angles. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable. There was plenty of room for 7 of us. Check in was fast and easy. We went the week after spring break so the beach wasn’t too crowded. Security was present but not overbearing which was nice with 4 teenagers. The pool (although a little chilly but so was the weather) was fantastic! Easy walk from the parking garage to our place. And easy walk from our place to the beach! We definitely plan on returning!

Beautiful views, immaculate conditions

Very clean property, the large glass doors gave the best views from 14th floor ! This was a beautifully decorated space and I was very happy it is just as pictures show. My only wish is if there were wall plug ins with ocean scent or clean linen that would of been perfect to get rid of stuffy smell when you first walk in. Conveniently located but parking was very confusing no one could direct us or knew where we could park. It should be clearly noted in the instructions from host. Overall we had a great time very glad we booked this trip.

The location was perfect, close to plenty of restaurants, and activities for both adults and kids. The pool was very kid friendly. The beach views/access were perfect. They had a staff member at all entrances/exits that checked every person for a wrist band that belonged to the hotel, which made my family and I(traveling with 4 small children) feel safe while staying there. The condo itself was suitable for all 10 of us sleeping wise. However, it was very outdated and things broke as we were there. They did not supply adequate cooking supplies. The cooking supplies that were there were dirty and needed cleaned before even using. The floor turned our feet black the first couple hours of being there. The “pull out” bed within the couch was full of crumbs and food, as were both reclining chairs. Overall cleanliness was not great.

Way too much money for such an embarrassing and disappointing experience.

I’ll just put it this way- spent more time on the phone with property management than I did enjoying sunsets……and I was there a week. Literally, every day on the phone with them. Spent almost 5 k on this and wouldn’t have spent 2 had I known. I travel A LOT, and never had an experience like this. I’m not a complainer and I almost feel bad about writing this, but it is what it is. Someone owes me some money for this mess. Oh- and literally had to wash every pot and pan before cooking- dried and stuck old food on all of them. Still a little speechless and it’s been a few weeks since we got home.
