Arrived at 5:30 pm with door code in hand…didn’t work…called Benchmark, the rep. On duty was not familiar with property, kept referring to an incorrect address. Eventually door code was changed and I was able to get in. Benchmark did check back and I explained that the lock still. was not working on the first try they said they would investigate…three days later I checked out, lock was still an issue . Interior is very dated, lots of diy for your money just not worth it.

Fantastic Stay!

Only compliments about our stay, the updated renovation, and the included cookware. We brought our own beach chairs which was a good idea because the included beach chairs and umbrella are not available during the winter months due to the contracted beach-side service. The easy walk out access to the beach was wonderful for early morning walks on the beach. We would love to stay there again.

Peaceful, easy getaway!

We arrived to find easy parking right next to our room. We did have to call to get a new door code when we arrived, but it was an easy process. We found the room exceptionally clean! We loved the patio overlooking the water and the close proximity to the beach. The stairs to scale down to the beach are a bit steep— I can imagine littles and folk with bad knees may struggle. It’s because of the dunes. We absolutely loved that it came with seasonal beach chairs and an umbrella so we didn’t have to drag our stuff up and down. If your room has comp chairs (which this one does), then it is first come first serve to get a pair of chairs/umbrella. We had no issue with this as we loved getting to the beach early (7-8AM) to start our day. You can “claim” by placing towels and such on the chairs. If there are pink name tags on back, those are paid for by other guests without comp rooms I’m assuming. I do wish the back sliding door (which leads to patio then directly to boardwalk) could be locked from the outside. We did not want to leave the room unlocked so we had to go around the front and side to get to the board walk. Honestly not a big deal, but could be a good addition. A few minor cons: no salt/pepper, only 1 roll of toilet paper, big curtains that cover the beautiful glass sliding door are kind of hard to pull. You’ll want them shut at night for privacy. Just a short drive to shops/food! I would not say this is walkable to much, but could be bikable!

Lovely condo and beach

This unit is on the first floor. There is a very short flight of stairs to the first floor with parking in front of the unit. This made loading and loading very easy. This property is conveniently located on 30A close to restaurants and shopping. Evenings were quiet without the noise of traffic or rowdy groups. The bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioning kept the temperatures in an excellent range. The patio is also a great place to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Condo was nicely decorated and clean, boardwalk to beach came right up to back patio but people with bad knees need to be aware of how many steps there are on the boardwalk to beach (3 flights), beach was great and chairs and umbrella were setup and ready for us, housekeeping needs to leave access to essentials (such as toilet paper- there was only ONE roll available), traffic in and out is very congested during certain times of the day, there were bicycles there but we didn't use them, drove thru Rosemary Beach which had nice shady areas, shopping, and places to eat.

Overall great stay

Overall we loved our week on the beach. It was so nice to go up and down to the beach within steps. We loved the beach chairs/umbrella came with setup and having breakfast on the porch with ocean view each morning. There aren’t a lot of restaurants nearby, but Alys beach is a must see. The only drawbacks was the bed. I’m not particularly picking on this, but the mattress was terrible both my husband and I woke up with sore backs each day. Management please get a new mattress. Also, keep in mind you only get ONE roll of toilet paper for the week and 2 dishwasher pods/laundry. You might want to bring extra. We would love to come back if they can update this couple minor things.

Great space

This was for two people. It was very clean and well furnished. We did not use the kitchen, but looked like it had all the necessities. I forgot to bring coffee and did not have a car. It’s at least a mile to a place for coffee. We had rented bikes and the path along 30A was flat and easy to ride on. A car would have been easier to get around as there are not restaurants or shops very close. The beach is beautiful and clean and right down a deck if stars. Beautiful view from the living room. We were there mid-November so it was very quiet. But I could see where the back deck area could be very busy with people walking by since it’s located next to the walkway where others make their way to the beach. Overall we recommend this unit.

Great Stay

The location was wonderful and the condo was very nice and clean. My only recommendation would be to replace the sofa bed mattress to something more substantial. This one was exceptionally thin foam and you could feel the metal bars in your back. Other than that, wonderful stay!
