  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

Desperately Needs Updates

The property and location are great. The room, not so much. This condo needs a massive update. The furniture, kitchenware, appliances, decor, etc. are all very outdated.Outlets barely hold on to your devices, often times your plug ins just fall out. Bed and pillows were difficult to sleep on. Furniture was old and had stainsFloors were cleaned but still filthy; made our feet black. Condo does not provide cleaning supplies so I couldn’t clean if I wanted to. Had to live in filth for my trip. They barely provide you with enough supplies to do much, really. This includes cups, paper towels, laundry or dishwasher detergent, pots, pans, etc.There is no overhead lighting or fans in the bedrooms and the living room. Have to use lamps which are plugged into the faulty outlets. This also doesn’t help the dingy, outdated feel of the condo. Could not get the living room TV to turn on and the master bedroom Roku only worked once. Again, really added to the feel that you were staying at your grandparent’s house.Your balcony for this room is smaller than the rest of the rooms in the building. And for this particular room, your view of the pool/beach is blocked by the trees. Splash pad and the cafeteria is about all you can look at. By the way, it’s actually on the 3rd floor. It’s just called the 2nd floor by the building. The ground floor does not have any rooms. Just overall not the experience I wanted. I felt like any other room would’ve made a positive impact on my trip.

Edgewater at PCB

Unit was accurate to the listing. Had an Oceanview from the living room and balcony. Enjoyed the lower story and the quite location; until the weekend. Unit was clean and well equipped. Owner was very responsive. Would definitely stay again

Disappointing interaction with owner ...

The condo was nice but we had no hot water upon arrival, lukewarm at best. The next day, the owner had someone come in and supposedly just turn up the thermostat. That night we heard water running and when we opened the closet where it is housed, water was spraying everywhere; thank goodness it wasn't hot water or we would have been burned from head to toe! I texted the owner as it was after hrs. for maintenance and told him we needed help ASAP and explained the situation. Security showed up first and turned the water off to the entire condo and said someone would be out the next morning to repair. The owner actually called me then and when I told him we could not stay there without water, he said each toilet had one flush! Seriously, 2 senior ladies and we were supposed to get by with 1 flush ea. He then offered a 1 bdr. 1 bath condo on the same property, but said we would have to move to it for the balance of our stay. I paid for 2 bdrms/2 baths so no way was that happening. He finally agreed if the plumber he had called couldn't repair it that night, we could stay in the 1 bdr. for one night. Fortunately, the plumber had a water pipe and was able to repair it that night. I heard nothing more from the owner, no phone call, no text, NOTHING to check on us or the situation. He was not responsible for the broken pipe but he WAS responsible for his reactions to the situation. Very poor communication and very disappointing that he didn't care enough to follow-up.
