“The cottage was well maintained and well furnished, it was a perfect place to relax and unwind. My only suggestion is a rug in the bathroom because the floor is real slick.”

“Very well-stocked home in a beautiful setting. It was very private and lovely to see the whales out in the water. Bald eagles floated past the big bay windows and there is lovely hiking just minutes away. The beds and bedding are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked if you plan to cook, and there are a few places close to go for supplies. There are 43 steps down to the front door through a series of 5 staircases. If you have any mobility issues, this would be a difficult stay. ”

“No, the room had a musty, moldy smell. I purchased room deoderant to cover the odor as much as possible during our stay. 4 out of 5 light bulbs in the dining area fixture were burned out and 1 was missing from a lamp in the living room. It would be good to have at least 1 sauce pan and a toaster. The living room couch was rock hard. I believe it may be a sleeper sofa, but it would be uncomfortable at best to sleep on. The view is beautiful!!! ”

“The log cabin was just perfect for our group. Although we did not meet our host, she was very prompt at responding to questions prior to our arrival. Our stay was so good that we had no reason to contact her regarding issues. The place was precisely as advertised, and everyone enjoyed themselves, including the new hot tub which was a pleasant surprise for all. “Beautiful place, lots and lots of stairs. Waterfront is on a little lagoon that is made by the embankment for the train rt of way. Trains pass by occasionally, I found the sound kind of peaceful, but if you think you will be disturbed, bring ear plugs.There is a gorgeous fire place as the center of the house, but guests are not able to utilize it. The fire space on the beach is small and viney, but we made do. Just don't expect to sit around a fire for a long time.All in all, a very good stay...
