  • Dad's Legasea is an oceanfront 4 Bedroom home with a loft. This FANTASTIC house has everything your family needs - well equipped kitchen, outdoor hot/cold shower, super TV, wifi, ice maker, coffee pot maker, and much more! Located on Springs Avenue, this home offers direct oceanfront views and access to the creek which makes it one of the best possible choices for any family looking to fish, float the creek and relax.

    The loft, great for older children, welcomes the early morning sun off of the ocean and features two twin beds. Downstairs, the four additional bedrooms feature three queen beds and two twin beds. All three queen bedrooms have en-suite vanity with mirror and sink. The home features two bathrooms on the main floor and a half bath under the house with a full size washer and dryer.

Wonderful house right on the beach. Lots of room and 3 decks from which to watch the surf. Perfect for our family celebration. We will be back!

Nostalgia & Pawleys Perfect

What a cozy, warm & relaxed getaway we enjoyed at Dad’s Lega Sea with our mini Bernedoodle. Perfectly comfortable for the 3 of us & room to spare! Loved the knotty pine floors& walls with screen doors that allowed the ocean breezes throughout the living area.Can see why so many special memories have been made here.

Great!

The property is so comfortable and the location is unbeatable. The house was built in 1953 and is solid as a rock. It’s a true Pawleys experience.

Wonderful beach house!

We enjoyed staying at Dad’s Legasea. It was a spacious and comfortable accommodation for our family. So grateful for the opportunity to be able to stay here and watch the sun rise over the ocean and see the dolphins and sea birds from the porch! Thank you for making it available to rent.

Only issue we had the outlets at the bedroom sinks do not work. Inconvenient for drying hair. But other that that I would highly recommend this house.

I’m always a little worried when we rent a new property- will everything we need be available and will the house work for us...this house was perfect! Great living space for meals and late nights, great location, kitchen had nearly everything we needed, and the dock was fabulous! We made lots of memories and can’t wait to get back next year!

The house was spotless and had all the accommodations you would want in a kitchen - coffee maker, blender, toaster, microwave, toaster, oven, dishes, etc. - as well as throughout the house. The views were gorgeous. It was lovely to be on the beach (a few steps away) and then relax on the front porch later in the day. Close to restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores. We took advantage of our credit from VacKLife (beach chairs, table, umbrella) We had a great time and already booked for next year. The rental company - TideLife - was excellent to deal with.

The elevator makes things so much better when arriving and leaving. Having bed linens (beds made) and towels makes things easier. Being on the ocean and creek is plus also. Good times at this house for 43 years.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything from booking to check-out went smoothly. The house itself is a dream. We only left the property to go to the grocery store. The rest of the time we were on the beach, the dock or one of the many porches. The weather was cooler than we had hoped, but it didn't hinder our fishing or our fun! I would recommend this property to anyone considering renting it even though I'd love to keep it a hidden secret.

And this is the fifth year in a row I’ve had the pleasure of working it all out with TideLife. They love what they do and it shows. I woke every morning to see the sunrise over the ocean and made a point of enjoying the sunsets from the beautiful new dock. We brought a boat this year and it was so convenient to enjoy it in the tidal creek. Love the update to bathroom. But mostly love the classic feel of a comfortable beach cottage that Dads Legasea provides.

Water on both sides. Moon rising. But I don't want to it to sound too good or we won't be able to get our week next year!

Reviewer Comments: I love Pawleys Island and have booked off season rentals with them for the past four years with Tide Life. I have health issues related to mobility that make it difficult to load and unload luggage and groceries up and down the stairs. Up til this year, Tide Life had secured me a very nice place to enjoy my overall stays. I was very disappointed that I was not notified of the lift being unavailable this previous stay. Other than that, WOW !! What a beautiful experience it was !!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at Dad's Legasea Oceanfront Home at the South End of Pawleys Island. The house is older and fully of charm that fully matches the description and images shown in the listing. The location is amazing, steps away from the ocean and the waterway with its own dock. The property was clean and check-in and check-out were extremely easy and management was helpful and friendly. My only note is to bring your own pillow if you need more than 1-2, and the beds were a little firmer than we're used to. You are tucked away on the far South side of the island, so don't expect to get off and on in a hurry-allow yourself plenty of time for bikers and walkers. We were surprised by how many cars came flying through with kids and pets walking around close to the road. We loved the house and can't wait til our next trip to Pawleys!
