“Pet friendly is an understatement. The staff were so accommodating and went way above to make us and our dog Blue so welcome from his welcome pack to the fuss made over him it made our visit truly special. Massive thanks to Lucie, Taylor and Ray for looking after us and the old dog. Breakfast was brilliant and the I would highly recommend the Haggis, Neeps and Tatties. Probably the spiciest and best I've tasted.”

“The hotel was nice. The food at the Brassels was better than the Cruzerie (?). The hotel was pet friendly. The rooms were a great size and comfortable. Unfortunately, we couldn't do much as you have to book everything in advance. We were not aware that you had to plan ahead.”

“Very comfortable, good view of the kyles of bute. Lovely breakfast including home-made jam and bread. Most helpful husband and wife team. Nothing was too much trouble for Gabor, who not only sorted out my TV problem but very kindly drove me to the start of my ramble. Highly recommended.”

“Checked into our first room, toilet flush inop and a washing up bowl on the side with the toilet fixings hanging off. Reported to reception who moved us to another room with a sauna, sauna did not work, horrendous noise from the kitchen fans and no sea view which we had upgraded to. Back to reception for a second time and had to argue to get moved room again. Third room was terrible, smelt damp, curtains hanging off, paint peeling off walls and cracks in windows. Only upside was the food was...
