Sitting on the porch in the evening and just watching the fireflies come out, the deer passing through, and hearing the wild turkeys above us, so serene. We spent the days touring Gettysburg and Harpers Ferry taking in all the history and then returned home and we would think about thr history that took place here. “We stayed at the Way-Har cottage as our son had a baseball tournament nearby. I especially appreciated the fully stocked kitchen to be able to cook meals. The farm fresh milk and cupcakes they left for us was so kind! They were delicious. The beds were very comfortable. Our boys loved walking to the farm to see the animals and barn cats.
