Many characterful villages are dotted around the lake with pubs and shops, Another Place Hotel offers fine dining and afternoon teas. Pooley Bridge is a short drive with shops and pubs for casual dining. A trip over Kirkstone Pass will lead you to Bowness on Windermere or Ambleside making exploring the southern lakes easy and Keswick is a 25 minute drive.

A glazed dining area opens onto the terrace with views down the valley, the terrace also has table and chairs. The kitchen is well equipped with a large island and seated breakfast bar, electric double oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, Nespresso coffee machine (please bring your own pods), wine cooler, dishwasher and electric boiling water tap. A separate sitting room also benefits from views over the lake and has comfortable sofas, TV and an inset LED electric fire.
