The property was well maintained especially since it is the end of the season. There was a slight musty odor and the return air grill was really dirty.

We've stayed at a lot of places in Perdido, but this was hands down one of our favorites!! We WILL be returning!! The view was fantastic, the walk to the beach was super short and easy, and plenty of yummy restaurants nearby! The condo itself was very spacious at an amazing price! Perfect for our family of 4. It was clean and well maintained. We highly recommend this place!!!

Incredibly Convenient

It was amazing to see my balcony, be at the pool, and see the beach all at the same time! I loved how easy these logistics were with 4 kids. I would stay here again in a heart beat! Staff was so helpful and responsive!

Amazing place to stay!

We absolutely love staying in Perdido Key at the Palacio! The views are always breathtaking and the area always has so much to offer. We had a really difficult time checking in and the 24 hr help line number did not work when we needed it too. However, in the morning the rental company contacted us and was very apologetic about the major inconvenience and did make things right! We will definitely be back again in the future!

Great location

This unit felt less finished than the one we stayed in last year. The cover on the fluorescent light in the kitchen was missing, many empty nails from decorations or pictures, dishwasher didn’t work (reported), ceiling fan in the primary is way off balance and noisy(reported).

Great location - Dated

Our recent rental in Perdido Key at the Upon arrival, the front door was filthy, which set a poor tone frWhen we opened the door there was a foul and musty odor. We found the floors gritty with sand, as if they hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned. The refrigerator also had remnants of food and grime on the shelves. To add to the frustration, the garbage disposal was broken, which is most likely where the foul and musty odor was coming from. When we went to use the glasses from the cabinet, we found some with residue from red wine—clearly, they hadn’t been washed properly. One of the biggest disappointments was that our beach, andpool access wristbands were deactivated a full day before our checkout. This left us unable to enjoy either the pool or the beach for the last day of our stay, which was extremely frustrating given that access was one of the primary reasons we booked the property. When we called for assistance we were told that they would check in to it and get back with us. We were told that the bands were reported stolen so they were deactivated. We didn’t understand why we weren’t contacted before deactivating them. They were unable to reactivate the bands and instructed us to use a code to allow access. After dinner we decided we would go for a walk on the beach. When we got to the gate to enter the pool area there was nowhere to enter a code therefore we didn’t get to enjoy the beach or pool on our last evening

Paradise included

Overall, the experience was wonderful. Located in paradise with perfect white sand beaches. I have no complaints. The unit itself could use a touch up job from excessive use. The kitchen could be furnished with some more useful cooking appliances instead of scratched up teflon pots. The dishwasher doesn't work, a handful of lightbulbs were out and the beds could be replaced. Otherwise, twas comfortable and I would graciously return.

Wonderful Vacation

We had a wonderful time at Palacio. The condo was spacious, clean, and very nice. The view is Beautiful. The walkway to the beach was very short, they have a mat that goes out on to the sand that makes it very easy to walk on. The pool was great! They had staff on sight which is very helpful. The only suggestion I would make is to get a mattress toppers to make the beds more comfortable, they are very hard.to sleep on. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

Do not use Crye Leike

I had texted a few days prior to departure for info on coffee pot---maker in unit was not what they told me (would have brought mine from home). We did not have bracelets in unit until mid-morning on Saturday and could not go to beach or pool without them. Friday should have been FREE!!! Do not use Crye Leike-Flip Flop Vacations.

Poor beach availability

Beach service monopolized the beach the entire width of the property for 4 rows at least 30 feet between rows. This left a ton of unused space since those who bring their own chairs are not allowed there. That left a sliver of beach between Palacio and the next property to be fought over! I would never visit Palacios again for that reason

Enjoyed our stay!

Everything was as pictured/advertised. It conveniently located near everything we needed. The pools were great for days when the beach just wasn’t swimmable. We enjoyed our stay. This was the biggest condo we have ever had, and it fit our family of 4 well. The only downside we had was the floors kept getting crazy sandy because there was no rug in the entry. Also, the master bed could really use an upgraded mattress, we made due, but were definitely ready to come home to our own bed. The noise from the pool was almost non-existent, which was great given the fact we were right above the pool area. The ocean view was a little obstructed only because you’re eye level to the balcony rails and ocean on the 2nd floor. Otherwise, very nice condo in a nice area! Short walking distance to great eating too!

No tv

We could only stream on the tv and before that we had to get someone to take care of it. We had one that couldn’t be in the sun so it would have been nice to have tv, if i had know about the TV’s I wouldn’t have rented the condo. We couldn’t use either one of the bedroom TV’s. The light was out in the walk-in closet and the bulb in the bathroom kept blinking. A guy came by our last day and took care of the lights.

Excellent location

Almost everything about this apartment was perfect. Great location, bedrooms were roomy and the bathrooms were clean. Large balcony with a great view. Listening to the ocean while you eat breakfast is wonderful. If you are not traveling with kids and you dont want to hear them in the pool below you might want a higher floor, but for us it was ideal. The only negative I had was there were a few things in the kitchen that could have been cleaner. Reaplace the mugs in the cupboard, and maybe clean the inside of the the drawers and cabinets. It wasnt a deal breaker for us but something that needs attention.

Paid for beach front condo but gates were locked “indefinitely” due to construction issues.

When we booked our condo the company we booked through did not tell us that the complex had issues with the EPA about a new beach walkway that was being built, had to be re-built to meet state standards and not completed. It was locked, by chain and key, and we could not access the beach from our building at all and the HOA could not come to an agreement with a building next door to allow us access through their building. Everyone at the complex was very upset over this issue and it was not acceptable at all. We had tile floors in the designated condo, which I love, but we could not walk barefooted in the condo w/out our feet being black from dirty floors. Tile does not typically show signs of being dirty so I’m sure housekeeping thought the floors were clean but they were NOT. We did LOVE the layout of the condo with two BR and open concept and a lot of space. While we were there, the air conditioner went out and did not work for a couple of days but they did contact a maintenance company and they did repair it, but it took an entire day to complete the repair. If the beach issue had not been restricted our stay would have been much better. The pools are nice but not the same as the beach, when you paid for beach front access.

Girls annual trip

The unit was quite comfortable and nicely decorated. The view was nice from the balcony--pool & beach. Loved the idea of a king bed in each bedroom. The only complaint is the kitchen dishes and utensils were not clean. The stove top was smeared as well. I've tried reaching the realty but to no avail. We had to wash all dishes, pots and pans and utensils before using. Housekeeping was slack in kitchen only. Everything else was perfect.

October stay

Location of property is wonderful. The property and the unit could use some updating. Property did not have enough parking for staying guest. Unit is in need of a good scrubbing! The kitchen could be stocked a tad better with kitchen supplies. Unit needs an ice machine, the 4 ice trays are not adequate. The unit comes with free beach service however to be on the front roll you have to go down early every morning and stand in line to assure chairs and umbrella for the day.

Great

Property was great. Short distance to the beach. Loved that the beach chairs were with the condo. Loved 2 king beds , I would invest in room darkening curtains for the guest bedroom, but we just added a blanket to block out all the light!! Overall the property was great!

Beach trip

We had a great stay; however, a few things need addressing such as the sliding glass door is extremely hard to open. It really needs some attention. The unit was not well stocked and could use blankets, additional dish towels, large bowls, cookie sheets, a pair of scissors and a few more sharp knives. Also a Keurig coffee pot would be nice.
