This is our second stay at this property and we are already looking for to our next trip. The property is situated right on the beach and you are on the sand path to the beach just steps from the back door. The inside is welcoming and has a beach vibe throughout! It is also a plus to have a place at ground level to store you ice chest, chairs or what every you bring to the beach. (there is also a small room under the stairs with some extra beach items as well) I would highly recommend The Dory!

I really enjoyed the views from both of the balconies, as they were both totally different. Our reason for going was the beach and it did not disappoint!!! There was a problem with ants in the kitchen and mouse droppings by the garage door inside. Also the screen door was broken with no way to lock it. I really didn’t feel 100% safe unlocking the door on the first level as anyone could have been there.
Walks on the beach during sunrise were my favorite.

Although the view of the beach from the downstairs patio was obstructed by sand hills and weeds, we were easily able to walk over the hump and go straight to the water. The kids had a lot of fun. The house was spacious and clean. Wish we had more beach chairs and umbrellas, kid toys but we just went down to the store across the street to buy some, no biggie, just come prepared with those. I'd recommend this place because it was private, silent, and well-maintained property. I'd stay here again if we ever visit Perdido Key in the future. Management was quick in responding to small details and observations. No issues.

Perfect for Family Vacay

We had a great time with family at this property! We all live in different areas so it was great getting to come and stay on the beach as a family. The townhouse was nice - grateful it had a baby gate for the stairs and we really enjoyed the area. Perfect location!! We would love to come back next year! Also, the guys loved the golf course - thanks for the coupon!!

Family Getaway

Vacation at the Dory 2024

property turned out great. we have stayed at another property in Perdido Key the last several years. check in was smooth. and the best thing was offer to check in early on Saturday. that gave us the whole day Saturday to enjoy the beach. the unit also had chairs and umbrellas available on ground floor that we could use. was a real plus+ ! this unit conveniently located to access all of Perdido Key. We will likely book it again for next year. Highly recommend this place.

Great family vacation!

We love this condo. This is the third time we have stayed here. Plenty of sleeping room for our family of 8. The kitchen is supplied with all the necessities. Everything is close to the condo when we do leave the beach. It is perfect. We can’t wait to go back.

Great place to stay, short walk to the beach and looked just as the pictures show. Great for a family. We loved our week there and just a short drive to everything you need. Quiet area out of the way from all the craziness. Would definitely stay again.

Location, location, location!

The Dory was equipped with everything we needed for a week at the coast, and even with multiple adults, there was plenty of room for everyone relax. A short path led to the beach. Although it wasn’t crowded during our stay, it was nice to see that the area immediately behind the condo is marked off for her guests. Each unit is allowed only two parking spaces, which would likely be more than enough for most families. We had four vehicles to park, so we did have to utilize off-site parking (just a 5 minute drive down the road). The only truly negative issue we had was when my daughter stepped off the patio and onto a rusty nail (likely fallen from the overhead platform supporting the air conditioning unit). Since it punctured her heel she received a tetanus shot at a local urgent care, along with instructions to stay off the beach for the remainder of our stay. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Dory, and would definitely consider returning should we ever be in the Pensacola area again.

Perfect location

Perfect location! Very quiet area just a short drive from things to do. We really enjoyed the private beach. Home had everything needed for our stay, including beach chairs. Check in and check out instructions had me slightly confused, but maybe it’s just me. Instructions said to tell Alexa unit we were checking out but I didn’t see any Alexa. Also couldn’t figure out the fancy thermostat. Home was clean, well stocked with needed items, and felt safe. All the other units had a hose outside for rinsing off after the beach, but this one didn’t. That would be my only suggestion for improvement, a hose to rinse. This was a great family trip and many wonderful memories made and we thank you for hosting such a wonderful time.

It was a fun stay

This is a beautiful clean townhouse and well provided kitchen. The view from the property is beautiful and the beach was clean and not super busy and like the fact that it was a private beach for the townhouse. It is a perfect place to vacation with the kids. The only downside is we were short on some comforters but otherwise it was a great stay .

Perfection!

Beautiful place, very clean, amazing views from the balconies. Great place to visit my son and his friends while he is at the navy air base. Such a relaxing home with a well appointed kitchen so we could all enjoy a home cooked meal and watch some football.
