This property was hard to get into at first. We were only provided one set of keys/fobs, although we expected two sets. This was tough with a group of us, especially because the front door of the apartment would not close without the fob, so we all had to leave together in order to lock the apartment. Also, the fob did not work the front door of the building, so we had to walk around to use the back door of the building.
The building is within walking distance of the convention center, museums, ASU, and other tourist attractions in downtown Phoenix, which was great, and there are nice restuaurants and pubs nearby.
But this neighborhood was very noisy - until late in the night. We were there after ASU's fall term ended, so this noise is from locals - lowrider cars revving their engines, motorcycles racing, and cars playing music so the entire neighborhood could hear.
This apartment needs renovation. Both bathrooms have water damage on the baseboards near the bathtubs, it's dirty looking in general, and there are broken drawers in the kitchen and the primary bathroom. Towels are cheap, and there were only 4 bath towels in the apartment. The hot tub downstairs was out of order while we were there, but if it had been working, we would have had no pool towels. The shades in the living room are broken, and some of the shade blades are missing.
The beds in the second bedroom were uncomfortable and the sheets need to be replaced.
It was not worth what we paid to stay here.
