This property did not meet expectations and was not in the condition advertised upon arrival.We paid for early check-in, but the home was not guest-ready. It had not been cleaned, garbage was present, bathrooms were dirty, the pool table was not set up, and there was no electricity in the garage room. The home was not usable at that time, so the early check-in fee did not deliver what was promised.During our stay, we experienced ongoing issues with cleanliness, safety, missing essentials, and non-functioning amenities. There was broken glass that caused a cut foot, the pool was unclean and the pump not working, and basic items like beach towels (not stocked for the amount of renters) , kitchen towels, and trash bags were missing. There was also a leaking sink and a bathroom drain that would not clear.While the host eventually addressed many issues, it required multiple service visits (cleaners, electrician, pool tech, plumber), which disrupted our stay.The grounds are beautiful, but at a luxury price point, you expect the home to be fully ready. We only requested a refund of the early check-in and cleaning fees, which felt reasonable, but received nothing.Overall, the experience did not match the listing, and future guests should be aware.
