The views from the cabin were absolutely beautiful; we really enjoyed watching the sunrise from the front porch. The location is minutes from downtown Pickens and only about 35 minutes to Greenville. The hosts were very responsive and friendly, and the property was very clean. My only complaint is there was no washer and dryer for guest use. This is my fault, though, because I assumed they were available, based on my experience with other vacation rentals, and I didn't pay attention to the property description. Fortunately, we packed plenty of clothes. I would definitely rent from the hosts again.

Wow! We absolutely love this secluded cabin! The place was clean, nicely decorated in a lovely rustic style, and exactly as advertised. The little details were great- the bear bottle opener, the twisted hiking stick over the doorway, the star on the edge of the mantle, the boat hanging outside the window and many more. Our hosts, Sunny and Ryan, were very communicative and accommodating—they couldn’t have been nicer. I was able to prepare a six-course meal for seven people for our son’s 44th birthday in the well-appointed kitchen. We enjoyed light hiking with my service dog and cozying up by the gas fireplace on a chilly morning. The deck was perfect for morning coffee, even in the rain. The swings were a wonderful addition, too. The bed was comfortable, and the showers had great pressure with plenty of hot water. The views are stunning, especially at sunrise. The checkout process was easy and straightforward. We will definitely make this mountain cabin our go-to place when visiting local family. I highly recommend it!

Check in was smooth, Sunny communicated everything we needed to know in a timely manner. We had great wi-fi access and a beautiful view of some mountains. We saw deer a few times during our visit. It was the perfect get away to destress and enjoy a natural setting in a quaint cabin. The cabin was very clean, with a nice array of cooking items, comfortable beds and seating.

Getting away

We live in Florida and wanted some cooler weather again. So, we thought May would still be good in South Carolina especially in the mountains. We found what we were looking for! We loved this area, this house and the owners Sunny and Ryan are wonderful people. My wife did her job so well (she rang a cow bell on our walks) that we never ran across any bears! : ). Loved our experience in Pickens and surrounding area!

BEAUTIFUL!! Quiet and serene. Great place to relax and recharge. Peaceful, colorful sunrise views from the breakfast table for coffee are the best! Just a wonderful place! So nice I would highly, highly recommend.

Beautiful Cabin

Nicer than the pictures. It was beautiful, quiet, and had gorgeous views. It was well set up, and they even had a dog water bowl ready for my pup. Best part: truly kid friendly. There were no breakable decorations with in arms reach for my kids and a baby gate already installed at the top of the stairs. The porch was gorgeous, and my favorite place to sit. We’d definitely come back.

Hidden Gem

Absolutely beautiful place. Sitting on the porch in the morning watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee was great. Lots of wildlife. The only people past you are the owners at the top of the mountain. Very private and peaceful. Great place to escape and just enjoy the peace and quiet. Close to " The Pretty Place and lots of waterfalls. Definitely plan to stay here in the future.

Beautiful mountain stay
