The heated pool was not working for 2 days of our stay. They sent someone out but they could not get the pool working. That was a really important part of my family’s vacation as I asked about the pool being heated multiple times before checking in and I was Informed it was working. They were very hesitant about moving us into the rental next to where we were staying but they did only after I asked for a manager or owner to call my husband. We have rented ALOT on VRBO and we have had instances where amenities did not work but the owners were always very quick to try to make things right. Definitely did not feel that way with this owner. Unit is nice, and the pictures are just like what you see at the unit. I just personally would not rent this unit again.

Pigeon Forge Cabin

We had our four children, their spouses and grandchildren for a weeks stay in Pigeon Forge.The cabin was very nice, and the family loved the indoor pool. The locks and alarm on the pool area was comforting, as we had 4 young children with us.The location was close to attractions and a grocery store.There was construction on the road that caused some road closures but we were able to detour without much issue. There is a land fill very close that was evident when the wind shifted. Not terrible but noticeable.We were part of the group impacted by a water leak that shut off our water for about 6 hours one day and apparently caused a landslide the Friday we were scheduled to leave. We were stuck until they cleared a path and added gravel so we could make it out. I have to say that the owners kept in communication with us. Unlike other units, our owners warned us of the water shutoff and were prepared to comp another nights stay if necessary due to the landslide. All in all, it was a great cabin with plenty of room for all of us. We had some excitement the last day, with the landslide, that made the local news.

The overall stay was nice, however because of a broken breaker switch, we could not use the pool or the downstairs area because of a lack of lighting. A new breaker switch could not be installed during our four days here (the breaker controlled air circulation unit, waterfall feature in pool). We couldn’t even sit in the pool room with so much condensation the furniture stayed wet. The lack of air circulation and chlorine smell made it so we couldn’t hang out there. We weren’t able to use certain amenities downstairs, but hopefully it will be fixed for the next renters. Lots of rust buildup and swollen doors made it hard to open and close which made the alarms on pool room go off. The representative with desirable destinations were great to communicate with and offered as much help as possible, however, weren’t able to install the breaker.

Highly Recommend!

Very clean! Great location and had lots of room for our family. We so much fun! It was also well stocked so it felt like we were at home. Also the doughnut delivery our first morning there was so thoughtful! We will definitely be back!

Beware of the landfill across the road!

The cabin was very nice. It’s new, but we could smell the landfill before we reached our cabin. The rentals are directly across the road from the county’s landfill. Oh my! What a stink! We had to hurry in and out because of the smell. We couldn’t enjoy the porch because of it. Once inside you were fine. The cabin was clean, but my son got into the hot tub and an earring went into his foot! He was the first to get into the hot tub so we know it was there from someone else. When I informed the host, he said they had time stamped pictures of it being drained and cleaned before our arrival and sent them to me. Basically calling me a liar. This was our family Christmas time together and it was marred by these events.

Quiet Mountain Stay???

The property itself was nice and easily accommodated our 9 guests. However, when booking a "mountain cabin" we expected much better views and the road was close by so there was too much road noise. Also the cabins were very close together contributing to the noise factor. The location was however very convenient to attractions and the Smoky mountain National Park.

Wonderful family vaca

The property was immaculate. So beautiful! Plenty of room for our family of 13. Kitchen well stocked. Pool toys and games provided. We had the best time. Will definitely want to stay here again. Our host was awesome and so very helpful.
