“This was our second time staying at the Evan Cottage and it was yet again perfect for our little family of 4. It is the coziest little home away from home and we can’t recommend it enough! Listing is very accurate, and although we didn’t have to reach out to the owners beforehand or while there, we know it would’ve been easy to get ahold of them if needed. Overall, very pleased with our experience yet again!”

“Been back for a few days and my friends and I are still talking about what a phenomenal time we had staying here.First off, hats off to both Tammy and Diane at Mermaid Cottages who were in communication throughout and made sure we had everything we needed. It goes a long way knowing they were just a phone call away .The location for this home is perfect. Just minutes to Tybee Beach and 15-20 minutes from Savannah. “Property was impeccable all around. Attractive, period decor, super clean. Every aspect thoughtfully appointed, down to shower head and toiletries. Loved the quaintness of neighborhood and deep historic character of area. Very pleasurable and memorable. We will absolutely return within the year. Looking forward to becoming further acquainted with hosts, who were kind, gracious, and flexible. Property should retain it's well deserved "10". ”

“Quick 5 day getaway in between busy family schedules! Enjoyed the relaxed pace of Tybee and access to Savannah. Salty Mermaid checked all the points for us…serene lagoon pool, clean hot tub, private setting. We traveled by plane so were unable to bring a lot of “extras”…our host had us set up for not a need in the world!”

“We love Palmetto Bluff and this property was just what we were looking for! The homeowners were lovely to work with and the home itself was great. Furnishings were very comfortable and the house was clean. You can’t beat this location! Highly recommend this home. ”

“We had a great time exploring the Beaufort, SC area. The guest house was very comfortable and conveniently located. The owners have made sure to provide everything you need. Best of all, it was affordable for the area. The property where the guest house is located is beautifully maintained, but unfortunately, there are houses on the street that are extremely junky and unattractive. This was not a particular problem for us, but it may be a concern for others.”

“Lovely house. Nicely decorated. Plenty of towels & large countertop in bathroom… appreciated having the extra vanity drawer space for toiletries. We ate out everything but breakfast but kitchen seemed to have lots of pots, pans, dishes. Parking was dedicated spaces right in front of the house. Bed was comfortable & AC worked great. Walking distance to all of historic Bluffton. Would stay here again!”

“This was a rustic beach home, fine for an affordable stay on Tybee, but near enough to Savannah too. The weather was not very cooperative (September). Rain flooded driveway and only the basics in kitchen (no can opener!). But overall, a lovely place. Very clean and quiet.”

"En realidad si la limpian pero usan algún producto súper barato de olor que hacer que el lugar huela terrible, un fabuloso malo, toda mi estancia estuve con rebote del olor de su producto de limpieza es terrible, deben cambiar de productos tal vez un Mr. Clean de aromas suaves, por que el olor de todo el hotel era terrible, también el personal de la recepción no fue amable, fue muy cortante y antipática, le preguntamos cómo llegamos a las 11:00 de la noche que si podíamos hacer entrega una hora más tarde para poder dormir y descansar y se negó rotundamente pero no fue nada amable, en la mañana el desayuno si fue bueno y el personal de cocina y comedor muy amables "
