“Our time at Zanziblue was idyllic. The beach out front was quiet and clean. We really loved how the whole property was calm and relaxing. The food at the restaurant was excellent! A great variety on the menu. Lots of fresh fish options but also great comfort food. The bar had fantastic, fun cocktails and great mocktails and smoothies. They also figured out how to make me a rooibos latte. At high tide the waves come right up to the property and then at low tide a guide can take you out to look at...

“I am a solo female traveller. Zanzibar House is an excellent property in so many ways. The staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are a delight to be in, with lots of comfortable places to sit and read or contemplate the beauty of the area.
I did not use the pool and I am sure it would be lovely.
At night time I had an evening meal which was tasty and they accommodated my dietary requirements very well. I am gluten intolerant. I recommend this hotel if you like quiet and beauty filled...

“Habitación limpia, espaciosa y a un paso del mar. El personal muy amable y atento en todo momento. Hicimos una excursión con ellos y todo salió genial. Repetiremos en un futuro.”
“El hotel está muy bien y bien ubicado en Matenwe, un pueblecito que no está tan saturado de hoteles y turistas por lo que guarda mayor encanto. Se trata de un pueblecito pesquero.
Las instalaciones y la habitación estaban muy bien, recomendable pagar algo más por una habitación en el segundo piso o en el tercer piso porque los que están en la zona baja tienen poca intimidad (al igual que los dos bungalows).
Lo único que no nos gustó es el desayuno ya que no es buffet. Tienen un menú cerrado...

It’s boutique hotel so not the facilities of a mega resort but the local friendly staff arranged a couple of excellent things for me and I really enjoyed the intimate atmosphere. “Three staff is very accommodating, and kind. There's a nice feeling they all know you and are trying to really help. We were there 4 days and it felt like we are a little community. The rooms are comfortable, clean, hot water and good internet connection. The breakfasts are very nice. "Its offered as an all inclusive which is not. The only thing you can drink without soda or alcohol is water which is unacceptable. The food is very poor only offering at the buffet unhealthy options such us fries, pizza and hot dogs. The room is a 3 star accommodation not a five star and the service is awful very slow and not giving any solutions to your request. We’ve had many problems such us a door which cannot be closed at the room entering mosquitos and we ‘ve complain at least 8 times in order to get it solved. The shower didn’t have hot water and as well they been around two hours to fix it and ee couldn’t have dinner because they closed while we were waiting to be able to have a shower. Terrible experience i would never recommend it to anyone."
