The home was clean and check-in was straightforward, which we appreciated.However, overall the stay did not feel like a good value for the price. After fees, the nightly cost was significantly higher than expected, and some charges, including the pet fee, were not clearly communicated upfront.While the property was clean, it did not feel particularly comfortable. The king-size bed was very soft and lacked support, which made it difficult to sleep well. The rooms are also quite small, making the space feel cramped.The checkout process was also more involved than anticipated. Guests are required to take trash to a community disposal area and clean out the fireplace. Given the added cleaning fee, this felt excessive.Overall, while the home met basic expectations for cleanliness, the pricing, comfort, and checkout requirements did not align with what we expected for the cost. Greater transparency and a more guest-friendly experience would make a noticeable difference.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The house was incredibly clean, and came with everything we could have possibly needed for our trip. The host was exceptionally responsive and super helpful as I forgot to bring the entry code to the cabin. She made us feel welcome with checking in and giving us tips on places to visit. We were particularly impressed with all the amenities, from the well-equipped kitchen to the comfortable beds and hot shower. For the coffee lover, having morning options was a nice touch. For anyone who finds themselves cold in the fall and winter, the house was cozy with the option of using the portable heaters or the fireplace (request ahead if wood is needed for your stay). Each morning around 5:30, deer would pass right by the windows. It was a perfect getaway and with so many things to do, we look forward to booking again!"

Family weekend

My husband and 2 kids stayed for a few days and this cottage was perfect for our family. We love finding nice homes that are pet friendly so our dog can join us. This place was clean and comfortable with fast and super thoughtful communication from the owner. We would definitely stay again.

Cute cabin, responsive hosts

Very cute cabin for our short stay in the Poconos. It is not completely remote location, but feels secluded and the road it's on is quiet. Instructions for getting access and checking in/out were very clear. Most essentials were there and ready for us as needed - but do read the fine print - you may want to preemptively bring your own drinking water. There's also a little shop 5min away if you're missing anything. Inside space was dog-friendly, and there's even a partially-fenced front yard. When we weren't out hiking with them (10min to the trailhead in a state forest) our pups spent a lot of time staring out the back glass doors at the deer and other wildlife.The host was VERY responsive and even helped reach out to local groups after our one dog slipped his leash and temporarily went missing. Really really appreciate this, as we were so panicked until we found him! Also shout-out to the community - everyone we spoke with during the incident was sympathetic and happy to help.Our only complaint (which seems small by comparison) was that the water never got hot, so showers were a bit of a cold plunge.Otherwise, would recommend and stay again if we return to the area!

Weekend getaway

Very nice place in a quiet, wooded area. Cabin was cozy without feeling small. Great communication from owner. Would definitely rent again. Maybe only thing to signal to others is that the king bed is very soft, for those that may have an issue with that. Also don't skip over the information in the listing about the extra fees related to the community association.

Cozy Cottage

We had a wonderful getaway at this beautiful and cozy cottage. The cottage was so lovely. The kitchen was fully stocked for all of our cooking needs. The cottage was decorated so beautifully and the furniture was so comfortable. We enjoyed walking around the lake during the day and sitting by the firepit at night to make s'mores. This cottage was nature at its best. We saw deer right on the property. We will definitely visit again. Thank you to our host for being so accommodating and responsive to any questions we had. This was a perfect place for the four of us and our dog!

Nice getaway

Cottage was lovely. Within walking distance of lake access. So nice that it was pet friendly too, though the front fence is not fully fenced in (we improvised a temporary gate for the dog). Water dispenser was empty but tap water was surprisingly fantastic - I wanted to bottle it! Karan was very communicative and answered our questions quickly. We’d stay here again.

Cozy home with all the essentials

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful property with our two dogs. We ALL had a great stay. The house is very clean and comfortable. Plenty of room inside and out. Our dogs loved running around the property. It’s surrounded by woods. You have everything you need to cook. Karan was a wonderful host. He was so kind to send us recommendations in the area. He even went above and beyond to see if they we dog friendly😁. If we had any questions before or during our stay, he was always available. Would definitely stay here again.
