“We loved our stay at the Half Shell. The views were amazing, the widelife (birds) abundant, and the peace and serenity exactly what we were looking for. Having pictures of the kitchenette in the listing would have been helpful. It was a pleasant surprise. Although we didn't cook, it had everything we would have needed to make a small meal. Everything went smoothly and we look forward to staying at this location again really soon. ”

“Home is well-appointed and comfortable, with lots of room to spread out. All modern conveniences available for use - coffee maker, microwave, split air/heaters, washer & dryer. Clear, quick communication with the host, easily accessed the property at check in. Our favorite feature was the deck in back, over looking the water, where we watched ferries crossing, eagles & geese hunting for food and gorgeous sunsets. Highly recommend and hope to return soon for another stay!”

“My first vrbo, host was accommodating, had a last minute change and was no problem, very clean, you do have to use the main house for bath facilities but easy acess, 2 minor things, there is only one out let for the refrigerator, microwave and Kuerig had to get down and plug in microwave to use, and small night table on both sides of the bed, other than that great time easy to get to, thanks John”
