“Went on a mother/daughter getaway for our first time on Orcas Island. The location was great, a little more out in the woods, but only a short distance to the cute town of Eastsound. You can see the water from the porch and there is a waterfall right next to you that you can hear/see. There were people who stayed above us that you could easily hear walking/using the water but not too disruptive. The only item that wasn’t as advertised was we were missing a hair dryer. Otherwise, great low price...

While the owner was very friendly, this setup felt more like we were intruding on a private space than staying in a standalone cottage. Clarifying this in the listing would help future guests know what to expect.”

“Beautifully located on the south side of Bellingham, this suite is ideally located to explore the towns of Fairhaven, Bellingham, and the Chuckanut mountain area. Very wooded, quiet, and serene. “We enjoyed the interior design of the property and it was so well stocked. The views from the living room and bedroom delighted us. During a very rainy evening to bright daylight sun, we saw the boats moored in the harbor, fishermen launching their boats and trains transporting many item gor our daily use. “We arrived at unit XXXXA at 7:40 p.m. and were finally able to enter an hour later. Vacasa had sent me 10 emails before our arrival, all with the wrong unit number (XXXXA) and incorrect check-in instructions. It was dark and raining, and after spending about 15 minutes trying to get in, I called Vacasa. It took 10 minutes to reach an operator and another 10 minutes for the property manager to call me back. To make matters worse, the instructions directed us to a unit two doors to the left...
