Perfect Villa

We stayed two weeks and it was a perfect break in a fantastic villa. Any small problems we had were dealt with quickly by both the owner and Management team. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Good but not great

Good location, traditional, spacious house with great outdoor seating area together with a lovely pool. Prompt response from owners when we had multiple issues with a leaking air conditioning unit but we were left slightly underwhelmed with the overall stay. On arrival there were very few basic kitchen items that you’d expect for a property in this price range which necessitated a trip to the supermarket to buy salt, pepper, bin bags, dish cloths, dishwasher tablets, washing liquid, toilet rolls etc. The air conditioning controls in the bedrooms were blocked off so that we could only switch on and off which felt rather petty and meant we couldn’t control the temperature- one room was too cold, one too hot but one was just about right. The locked cupboard and rooms just added to the rather unwelcoming atmosphere but the kids thought the coat hooks in the hallway made from upturned wild boar feet were brilliant. Cleanliness and communication good but sadly the wow factor was missing.

VILLA SUAVET PETIT

Lovely stay in a beautifully clean, 'traditional style' property. Took us a little while to work out the tap water at the property is desalinated, but there is one separate tap in the kitchen with water suitable for making coffee/tea or of course there is bottled water. The pool area is very relaxing with plenty of beds and tables for eating outside. The mosquitos were very active, so take repellant and bite cream! Helpful booklet with lots of local information left at the property. Great location for us, mid way between the town and the harbour, 5 mins each way in a car, but probably too far/hot by foot! Supermarkets very close by and lots of things to do for a variety of different demands. Excellent restaurants with charming staff in both the harbour and town.

Great villa in a great location!

We had a wonderful time at Villa Suavet Petit, the location is perfect between the beach and old town areas. The only thing that let it down was not having any basic kitchen items when we arrived at the villa (ie. salt/pepper/oil for cooking). The pool was lovely, the outside areas beautiful and well maintained, and we especially loved the swing seat for a morning coffee! Overall we really enjoyed our stay and found the whole area to be beautiful.

Immer wieder gern

Die Villa mit dem tollen Pool in sehr guter Lage zwischen Polenca und Strand hat uns absolut überzeugt. Wir haben hier zwei wunderschöne Wochen verbracht. In der Villa hat jedes Zimmer ein eigenes Bad und ein zusätzliches Bad gibt es am Pool. Die riesige Aussenküche hat uns auch bei Regen die Laune erhellt.

Eine tolle Finca mit mega Außenküche und großem Pool. Jede Einheit Schlafeinheit mit Bad ist abgeschlossen. Waschküche samt Dusche und Toilette. Danke auch an das nette Team von Owl-Booking und ein Danke an die aufmerksamen netten Besitzer. Grüße auch an Lluc ;)

Schöne Finca und Garteb, die Sauberkeit hat nicht überzeugt

Schöne Finca mit tollem Garten und Pool. Die Sauberkeit des Hauses lässt zu wünschen übrig. Verschmutzes Geschirr im Schrank, Bad sehr unsauber. Die Küche ist sehr schlecht ausgestattet (defektes Geschirr und von allem nur das nötigste). Handtücher und Bettwäsche müssen bei verlassen der Finca in Säcke verpackt werden (welche nicht vorhanden sind), diess müssen also selbst gekauft werden. Auch Müll muss selbst abtransportiert werden. Die Lage ist gut, wenn auch an einer sehr viel befahrenen Hauptstrasse (das Haus steht weit zurück), trotzdem laut. Klima gibt es nur in den Schlafräumen, was den Aufenthalt (Ende August/Anfang September) in den anderen Räumen unerträglich macht.

Fantastische villa!

Zojuist terug gekomen van een week vakantie in deze schitterende villa. Alles is mooi, het grote huis, de tuin, het zwembad, de omgeving, het uitzicht, werkelijk prachtig! De servicegerichtheid van Owl Booking, super! Wij hadden een kinderbedje en een kinderstoel te weinig. Na één telefoontje was het binnen no time geregeld. Wat een vriendelijke mensen allemaal! De reden dat ik 4 sterren heb gegeven aan de incheck komt omdat we bij de verkeerde villa stonden toen we aankwamen. Er zijn 2 villa's naast elkaar (wel met alle privacy) en wij probeerden het hek van Villa Campet te openen met de code, maar we moesten bij Villa Campet Cran zijn.... :-) Dat is misschien een klein verbeterpunt in de routebeschrijving? Of wellicht onze eigen schuld haha. Verder niets dan lof, een aanrader, we hebben genoten!

Fabulous villa for a family break.

A very spacious and peaceful villa. The pool was wonderful and the unspoilt views out into the mountains gave a great feeling of freedom and space. 5 large bedrooms would easily sleep 10 people and there are plenty of choices for eating areas, sun worship and relaxation. A very short drive to all the joys of Pollensa (you’ll need a car to stay here). Fabulous trip - would definitely recommend and revisit. Thank you!

Ferie med venner

Dejlige omgivelser roligt og fredeligt hvis man vil væk fra de store turistområder. Mange gode og varierede cykelruter. Villaen er fint udstyret og hyggelig typisk spansk indretning og møbelering. Mange fine solkroge.

Lovely Villa

Just returned from a lovely week at this beautiful villa. We were a group of 6 adults and a 4 year old, we had loads of room, the bedrooms are all large and very comfortable. You will have to drive as you are about 10 minutes by car from Pollença, but you do get loads of peace. There is a bar at the winery across the road which is open during the week, which you can walk to. If it is a get away from it all type of holiday you are looking for then this is definitely for you.

Peaceful and well equipped

This was our second stay at Villa Campet Gran. We were there 2 years ago and loved it then. It is now much better managed by Pep from Owl Bookings who were very responsive when any difficulties arose. We were 6 adults and 3 children under 7 years. The children loved the pool which was very well maintained. There was also a new barbecue area which was excellent. The owners came regularly to clean, change the sheets and towels and maintain the pool. There was an excellent welcome pack of more than the basics of food plus wine and juice. Also the owners gave us some lovely fruit from their trees. The air conditioning at night and early afternoon was a blessing. The lay out of the villa was ideal for us as an extended family and the countryside setting, not far from our favourite resorts of Puerto Pollensa and Cala San Vicente was great. The older of our party have been coming to Majorca now for about 45 years and we love this area of the north, which has not changed too much. There is a resident cat Fosc who lives outside and who we fed in the mornings. We love cats so this was a bonus for us but if you are allergic or phobic of cats, this could be an issue. Also when we were there he injured his paw which was miraculously recovered when the owners eventually caught up with it (it had gone into hiding) 3 days later. The villa was very well equipped. The large pool towels were very good and hadn't been provided 2 years ago. A roasting tin would have been useful but otherwise I cannot think of any extra equipment we might have needed. If you have not been on a villa holiday before, don't forget to bring a cool bag (a soft packable one will do) and icepacks. Also bring mosquito plug-ins for the bedrooms.

Very spacious accommodation although to be honest we only used the bedrooms and kitchen as we spent the rest of the time by the pool . When we had a very minor problem with the BBQ owl bookings were fab , responding immediately . Would love to go back

Lovely property, well maintained - inside and out - perfect for a family holiday.

We were a family group of 6 adults, 4 children and a baby so accommodation is well laid out for this type of use. Lovely pool, difficult at times to get the children out- adults too! The agent, Pep from Owl booking, was very helpful and attentive and any issues arising were sorted out (air con not working in downstairs bed rooms when we arrived)very quickly. Lovely stay- a week goes by too quickly. You do need a hire car and Pep organised 3 cars to be brought to the villa - excellent

Lovely villa, very good for holidays with family/friends

El Campet Gran is a lovely historic villa with a great size pool. The villa's thick walls means it stays cool during the day. Brilliant location as it's outside Pollenca on a quiet road with brilliant views of the mountains and countryside (also perfect starting point for cycle trips). We loved the BBQ area and that there are multiple separate garden areas and a roof terrace, so even if you're staying with a big group it doesn't feel crowded. Pep and Alex from the agency were very responsive, friendly and super helpful. We'd give the villa five stars but there were a few minor issues such as the A/C in the bedrooms only working after 9pm (bit of an issue if you have small children), one of the beds being rather uncomfortable, limited wifi coverage (due to the thick walls and weak router) and the lack of basic supplies on arrival (toilet paper, hand soap, dish washer tablets, etc.). If these can be sorted out, this place would be perfect. Overall, we'd definitely come and stay at Campet Gran again!

Very well equipped and relaxing villa in a beautiful spot. Would definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic week at Villa Campet Gran. It is the perfect property for a group of friends or family. We were in Majorca on a cycling holiday and it was very well located for routes up into the mountains. We enjoyed relaxing in the wonderful pool on our return! Close to Campanet and Pollenca for amenities but in a very beautiful and peaceful spot with gorgeous views. Pep, the property manager was on hand whenever we needed any help or guidance. Hope to return some day!
