“We stay here a lot as the pub is an absolute delight. Everyone is very welcoming, the food is delicious, and the rooms delightful. Great place to stay when visiting the area. ”

The delightful Sherborne abbey is just a very short walk from the inn and there are numerous restaurants nearby. “We went with our children, who are 5 and 2. The family room we stayed at was big and spacious, so was the bathroom. All beds were comfortable, and they even had a cot ready for our 2yo. The children had a blast playing at the large play area while seeing the goats and alpacas. Breakfast was included and it was pretty good. The only downside was that, even though they have wifi, we had no signal in our room, so we could only go online (wifi or otherwise) at the restaurant and common areas.”
