Stay outside of Ponta Delgada, Sao Miguel Island
A group of ten people, including adults and children as young as 6 years old stayed at Lotus House for seven days in April 2025. The stay was amazing. The Lotus House listing with photos accurately described this beautiful and modern home. The property manager was excellent in their professionalism, honesty, communication and timeliness with answering all of my question and addressing any concerns. When I did not respond back to a message, someone from their property management team called me to ensure that my arrival was smooth. The rooms are spacious and clean. The location was very close to a small market (5 minute walk) or a larger supermarket (30 minute walk or 7 minute drive). The location is in a safe residential neighborhood and is close to the beach and ocean. While it is outside of Ponta Delgada, it is close enough that our tour guides- which normally pick up only in Ponta Delgada, were able to come straight to the house to pick us up. The pool is heated and that, along with the jacuzzi in the backdrop of a well maintained garden were excellent amenities to turn to when I we returned from a long day out on the island. I have already recommended Lotus Hiuse to others and would use it again if back in Sao Miguel with a large group of people.
