“I embrace historic charm and quirkiness; what I don’t like are doors to bathrooms and bedrooms that don’t shut properly and lack of cleaning. The bedroom was described as deluxe double but there is nothing deluxe about it. The carpet was stained and had not been vacuumed recently as evidenced by dead flies and numerous bits. “The property was homely & felt comfortable as if you were visiting someone. Close proximity to Fareford if you need accommodation for the airshow. Breakfast is in the family dining room & is cereals, juice & toast with jam & tea/coffee. Patrick is very flexable with timing for arrivals & breakfast. You can use downstairs to eat if you bring food in. Friendly host. ”
