We had a few minor issues during our stay, which we were willing to overlook because we enjoyed the property so much. I was expecting insects and other wildlife due to the tropical climate, however we had a little infestation of flies in the smaller bathroom each night to the point where the sink would be covered in them. “The host, Gigi, is a gem. She is very personable and communicative. The property is as described, yet a bit dated and a bit darker than the pictures portray. When in Hawaii you expect some bugs but we encountered quite a few more sugar ants than any of our 4 previous visits to Hawaii. The bathrooms were not as clean as we expected, thus the lower rating for cleanliness. We likely won't stay in Princeville again but I would not hesitate to rent another property from Gigi if the opportunity...
