The Quack Shack

  • Get cozy on the shores of beautiful Lake Murray. This air conditioned 2BR/1BA cabin is nestled in a quiet cove with stunning waterfront views. The master bedroom has a queen bed, while the second has a twin over full bunk bed. The living room also has a queen size sleeper sofa. This little cabin will comfortably sleep up to 6 guests. Spend your days floating around in the walk out swimming area, or get out on the water in one of our kayaks or paddle board. With a bait shop and boat launch just minutes away, you are welcome to tie up your power boat on the new dock. And the fun doesn't stop when the sun goes down. Spend your evenings grilling a fresh caught dinner, and create even more memories sitting around the fire pit. Don't forget the s'mores! If you're looking for a more catered experience, there are several restaurants nearby. Whether you travel by car or boat, excellent local cuisine is just minutes away. Welcome to the Quack Shack. Make yourselves at home and enjoy!

We enjoyed the “shack life” at the lake while our hardwood floors were being refinished.Old style lakefront house with great deck and gazebo. Quiet and peaceful. Would stay there again.

Great host, very responsive and easy to communicate with. The cabin was cozy and charming with a beautiful lake view. We were in town for our son’s college fishing tournament, and the location was perfect, close to the park and exactly what we needed. Would definitely stay again!

Christmas Visit

The Quack Shack was just perfect for a quick two night trip to visit family for Christmas! It was cute and quaint, just like the pictures, and had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

A few bumps in the road, but the Host communication was really good with immediate solutions. Pet-friendly including bowls and treats! What a great area! Loved being able to kayak right from the property. Plenty of space to park. Super close to Dreher Island State Park where you can fish, rent a kayak or paddle board, or hike with a small entrance fee (3/adult, 1/child).

A fantastic little getaway

It was a really, really nice getaway that we both needed. Also great fishing! As well as far away enough from City areas to feel secluded in a good way but close enough to be able to get there pretty easily for good food!.

Awesome Lake Murray Stay!

We had the absolute best time spending our Fourth of July weekend at the Quack Shack. The property and location were ideal. Everything needed for our stay was supplied. The host was great as well. Highly recommend!
