Dinero bien pagado 10/10”

“Perfect location for a stay in Florence! Close to the Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio and not a long walk to the Piazza Michelangelo for sunsets! Comfortable amenities for a small family to feel comfortable and close to lots of food options!”

“Beautiful location, but you absolutely need a car as it is remote, high in the Tuscan hills and involves a long drive on a narrow, dusty road.Follow signs for La Veronica Resort (can put resort name into sat nav on leaving airport). The property is behind the resort (large farmhouse), past the signs saying La Veronica car park and over a small incline. Parking available right outside the front door.It was perfect for our needs. We used it as our base while we drove around the wider area. ...

“This home is by far the most beautiful place we have ever rented. The house itself is both elegant and cozy, with comfortable beds and a gracefully renovated kitchen. The property is a slice of heaven, with spectacular views and gorgeous seating areas. I still miss the smell of oleander wafting on the breeze. My teen and early 20-something children said they would give the pool 11/10 stars :) It stayed cold and clean despite the serious heat while we were there, and is visited by a flock of...

“My family and I stayed in the house for a week of holidays. We where looking for a nice place, close to Florence and not to far from other nice sites to visit. It didn’t disappointed at all. The house is in the mountain, in a really peaceful area. If you don't have problem with driving a bit (the closest village is 10 min down the road, in the low part of the montain) and you are looking for some relaxing time this is your place! The house is spacious and cozy, the garden, the pool and the views...

“Fantastic property that is well appointed. Location is fantastic with the plaza just outside the door with some awesome restaurants. Town is beautiful and well served by public transport. Our host was amazing with plenty of advance information about accessing the property. She was even kind enough to help us with the nearest available free and paid parking and helped us steer clear of the ZTL zones. Thanks for a fantastic stay!”

“We had such a wonderful time in Florence and wish we could have stayed longer because this location was so convenient, spacious, clean and beautiful! The hosts were very responsive. I cannot recommend it enough. If driving, make sure to communicate directly with the Lungarno garage about exactly how to get there before you enter the city because Waze and Google Maps take you to the wrong location! Would do it again in a heartbeat!”

“Great place, beautiful and historical ”

“We found sanctuary at this lovely farmhouse during the July heat wave--refreshing dip in the pool, relaxing dinner in the courtyard, restful sleep in the air-conditioned home. Got up to watch the sunrise over the vineyards, absolutely stunning scenery, and watched three hot air balloons also taking in the sights. Matteo was very welcoming, and we bridged the language barrier with a little help from Google translate. Wished we could have stayed longer!”

“We had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful house. The property is in excellent condition and very well maintained. The entire grounds are fully fenced, which was a dream for our dog and made our stay even more relaxing. We really loved the equipment and facilities of the house — everything was well thought out and made us feel very comfortable. Paolo and his family are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The fact that they live on the same property did not bother us at all.”
