“The oak tree inn was a good choice for a one night stay. The drinks were nice and the breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive. The room was nice and clean. Tv remote was very slow and shower wasn't great. Bed was only a double and prefer king size but was fine for stop over stay”

“Friendliest staff I’ve ever met at a hotel had to move rooms due to noisy air conditioning units outside our window but accommodated us no problem couldn’t do enough for you definitely will go back thanks for a great weekend ”

“Our room was beautiful. It had a king size bed and the en-suite bathroom was a good size. The only downside was that the toilet flush handle was broken but still worked. It could have done with better lighting in the bathroom as you couldn’t see in the mirror very well. The room was immaculately clean and had a sofa and tv with easy to connect to WiFi. Personally I struggled with comfort of the bed as I found it too soft but it was dressed with clean sheets and had extra pillows in the wardrobe....

“Ideal single apartment adjacent to a busy local in a wonderful St John’s Chapel, Weardale location..with very close proximity to the ‘top of the world’ (Noah’s View Point) Road across to Teesdale. Good pub food and a couple of real ales… Just what was needed after a long drive!”
