“We had a nice stay. The house was very nice with a beautiful view of the water. The house is very private with a nice back yard with large deck. The only minor negative would be the gravel road you have to drive on. It is groomed so not hard to traverse at all. We would differently stay here again. ”

Kitchen was stocked with the essentials and all bathrooms had plenty of soap, paper towel and toilet paper. The host was super friendly and helpful. “This property was exactly what we were looking for. Stunning views and far away from the hustle of city life. The house was quaint and enough room for seven of us. There is no central air conditioning, just a heat pump on the first floor but opening the windows to the ocean air as Todd suggested was more than sufficient to cool the rooms down in the night. “Beautiful peaceful home away from home. Perfect for a family (we were there with our two kids), and we particularly loved being able to canoe with the kids right out of the backyard! Michael and Winnie were lovely hosts too.”

“This is a great house, with tons of space. Ample indoor dining and living space was augmented by a pleasant yard. Easy to find, within walking distance of a grocery and coffee stand, across from the famed Red Shoe, this was also a good homebase for visits to west coast beaches (and sunsets) the national park and other island attractions. Host is kind and friendly, as were the neighbors. All in all - a wonderful experience. I hope we can return some day.”
