There was no propane to light the fireplace in the pool area. The pool was cold because the sun didnt hit it for most of the day. The house is located on a busy, noisy road. The house was clean and decorated beautifully. The kitchen was wonderful. We all agree that its time to get new mattresses. The doors out to the pool didn't lock and the front door key pad locked sometimes and didnt work other times. We had a wonderful family gathering with our Florida family. Great memories.

The house was clean and welcoming. I would have given 5 stars except for a couple of minor items. We paid to have the pool heated and it was a little on the cool side. A few more degrees would have made a big difference. A few of the items that were on the listing were missing such as shampoo and bar soap. The clean bath towels in the linen closet were still damp. Aside from those things, it was the perfect place for our family to stay.

Cute home, loved the outdoor fireplace, close to everything. For us several things stood out with 3 children - the sliding doors to the pool didn’t lock and the house is located on a busy road.

From the moment we walked into the house, we were pleased with everything! The house was exactly as listed. The kitchen was well stocked and had all of the appliances and utensils we needed to cook a few meals for 8 people. The view of the inlet from the backyard and lanai was perfect. The pool was very nice, but, even after we paid to heat it, it never heated up.

This property was excellent! Very quiet area. All the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with needed cooking essentials. The grill was great. We enjoyed the pool area very much spending most days there. The canal was beautiful. My son used the paddleboard a few times. Beautiful sunsets. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking to visit the area. We absolutely loved our time there.

90th birthday celebration

Perfect place for a family get together for our mom’s 90th birthday. We were the central meeting place for the entire group, although only 7 stayed at the house. The open floor plan was perfect for us. Beautifully decorated. It was a special weekend that I know my mom will never forget.

Staycation

We had a great little family staycation. The home was very clean and spacious. Everyone had their own room/bed. The beds were very comfortable too. The pool and patio area is set up for entertaining and if you are staying with your boat, there’s a nice dock and short ride to excellent fishing spots and fisherman’s village. We took our boat to have dinner and fished over the weekend. It was a very relaxing, fun filled getaway.

This rental had everything you could ask for! The kitchen was large and well-stocked, all the bedrooms were clean and well decorated, and the pool and canal views were incredible! Can't wait to book again!

The property was amazing. Clean and spacious. Had everything we needed for our stay. Kitchen was very spacious for food prep and the grill was an added bonus. Beds were exceptionally comfortable. Will definitely stay at this property again.

This was an absolutely beautiful home in a great location in Punta Gorda. Julie, the homeowner was so sweet and even called us to tell us that the weather was taking a turn and a hurricane was approaching. If we weren’t comfortable and wanted to leave, she would refund the days we didn’t stay. We also learned that this home was built by Bob Villa and his crew (she even sent the video of the show) to be completely “hurricane proof” it reassured us and although we were able to leave at our normal departure, we could’ve stayed and stayed safe during the storm. We love the home, the pool, the bedrooms and beds were all very comfy. No complaints and we hope to return again! Thank you!

Great Labor Day stay

Wonderful canal front home. Very spacious and nicely decorated. Our Family really enjoyed the pool and paddle boarding from the dock. Fisherman’s village was nice and close. We had great dinners at the restaurants there. Hope to return one day. Thank you for sharing your home.

Was great till AC broke

Half way through our stay the house started getting warm. Informed the owner that it was hot the night before at nearly 77. Th he said that most people like it warm. The next day it got up to 80 and the owner said they would see if someone could fix it or just cut my vacation with family two days short or VRBO will find you something else. So they want us to pack up 7 people move to somewhere and unpack for two days or just cut vacation short. They finally admitted they knew the ac had a problem for a while. They said they would only refund two days because the ac was repaired at 4pm the night before but of course the house didn’t cool until the middle of the night. When asked about it again they said no. Would never rent from them again.
