We loved our stay! The decor is so welcoming and we loved the heated bathroom floor! We were lucky to get snow and a crew came out and shoveled the driveway, front porch and walkway and salted. Sarah was very responsive and the house is well supplied. We hope to come back and use the lake in the summer..

Comfortable Cottage

Beautifully clean, well decorated home with comfortable furniture and beds. Coming from the flat lands of the midwest, the hills and curves to get to the home (especially in the dark) are something to be aware of. I was glad my husband was driving. Would definitely recommend to other. Wish could have stayed longer and explored the outdoors more.

Cozy cottage in picturesque Putnam valley

The cottage was perfect for our weekend trip to visit our son at West Point. A picturesque drive to West Point, the cottage was so cute and was full of thoughtful amenities. Had we had the time to cook, the kitchen was stocked with spices, condiments, and cooking oils to make it easy to do so. The complimentary coffee was perfect as we arrived late and the stores were closed. The host was easy to contact and so kind and thoughtful. We will definitely book again.

Great getaway

Really nice little cabin in Putnam, close to cold spring and beacon. Cozy and enjoyed the stay. Beds were very comfortable and place was very clean.

Sweet Getaway Spot

West Point R-day

Super clean property with very comfortable beds! It's about a 30 min drive to West Point on some beautiful roads! We cooked our meals at the house and had everything we needed. Did I mention that the beds were very comfortable?!

Serene highlands

This property is a serene location in the Hudson Highlands that has convenience and good proximity to stores & multiple communities in the area. This home had everything we were looking for and was very comfortable for us. Our host was great too!

Christmas stay

The house met our needs. We were up visiting with children and grandchildren from Florida. Only issue was the heat. Don’t think house is well insulated. First 3 days were cold and heat wouldn’t get above 72 (we are from Florida!). Upstairs thermostat can’t be changed (67 degrees). TV is not cable, you must use YOUR streaming services. Driveway is a little tricky. Would rent again. Kitchen is well appointed and met all of our needs. Only negative was the initial checkin. We arrived at 2pm, but lock wouldn’t let us in till 4pm. Had to go cool our heels at Panera for two hours.

Hiking with my boys

Had a great time. The hiking in the area is awesome. Plus spending down time with my sons in this cozy will equipped home is just what the doctor ordered. Loved the house and surrounding area.

Great cottage, near Lake Oscawana

My wife and I had an extended stay in July 2023. We experienced the heaviest rainfall in Putnam Valley in a 100 years! The cottage has a great location, and I loved exploring all the haunts of my childhood, from hiking in Fahnstock to dining on the waterfront in Peekskill.

Charming home

Very charming home with all the necessary amenities needed. I can tell the owners paid close attention to detail and they were very quick to respond whenever I had a question. Very pleasant stay and I will definitely be staying here again on our next trip.
