“The nearest shops were a fifteen minute walk away. Clean room. Good check in.”

“The hotel was exactly as described in photos. Clean, classy and very good value for money. We couldn’t hear any guests within property. Shower was powerful and nice and bathroom was clean. Bed comfortable, duvet thick but airy which was the perfect combo. Outside space from the room was well presents and clean. No bad smell and easy check in. Only thing I would critique is we couldn’t open window wide enough for our personal choice and could do with curtains as well blinds as that morning sun...

“The cottage was beautifully designed and furnished. In a beautiful location, we had the sea and rolling hills of the countryside right on our doorstep. Listening to the Tawny owls at night was amazing and the whole garden lit up by the moon. The village pub was very accommodating too serving great food. We unfortunately all fell victim to the flu so could not explore the area as much as had hoped, so we are definitely planning to return to this stunning part of the world. ”

“Perfect location! Can't beat it - such a pretty place. On our check in, there was live music so couldn't even get into the pub to check in. Given the rooms are upstairs, an early night was not on the cards. Breakfast was good. ”

Also, a guest in an above room to ours left his bath tap running & then laid on his bed to "rest" causing his room & ours, to flood! “The staff were all exceptionally friendly and very helpful…. We went ‘off piste’ re the breakfast menu and this was not only accommodated with ease, but wonderfully cooked too. Bravo the chef 😘. The bed was comfy and spacious. The showers, hot and powerful. The only downside was that the room was slightly chilly and the plug in radiator did not work enough to warm it up….. The standard of cleanliness could have been better, but maybe that is determined by the age of the property….. We stayed 2...

“An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months”
