We had a great stay and the house was cozy with comfy furniture. The kitchen upstairs is small and not much room for meal prep, but the appliances work, and met our needs.The place seemed to have been "cleaned" in a rush. There was hair in the upper bathroom and dirty blankets on the upper bed. The cleanliness definitely could have been better, but I let the host know about all of our feedback directly. He was very responsive when we contacted him a couple times with questions. The Internet was a little sad with the number of people/devices we had connected, but Wi-Fi calling worked. Overall, if you're looking for a mountain retreat, this place fits the bill as long as your knees are in good order. Not handicapped accessible, not recommended for elderly. Roads inside the community are steep/hilly, so use extreme caution while navigating the area. It seems like it's in the sticks, but we were here for Thanksgiving, and went to Calhoun which is a short drive, and theres a well-stocked DG nearby as well.
