The location of the cabin on Panther Pond was lovely. Michael explained our cabin would be open and unlocked upon our arrival. However, when we arrived at 6 PM, the porch was so covered with pine tags and branches that we suspected, we were not at the right cabin. Entering the kitchen, we found the indoor mat also dotted with pine tags and the kitchen floor sticky. Dishes were left in the dishwasher, but many were not clean. The lamps and the TV chords were unplugged and difficult to sort through and find outlets for. We did find clean towels in the kitchen and on the made up beds, so we assumed our cabin had been somewhat prepared. We were provided with an old Keurig, but when we plugged it in all the water leaked out and on the second attempt, it tripped the breaker. The toilet seat was loose and no soap was provided for the shower.I found a partially eaten cupcake and a large piece of candy under the beds..Upon meeting David, I his shared my concerns about the cabin. He was unapologetic, defensive about the poorly prepared cabin, and suggested I should be more grateful. I found this very upsetting and contacted his brother Michael to discuss this interaction. Although Michael listened politely, he too, was unapologetic and suggested I should have contacted him sooner. We did appreciate Michael’s responsiveness in meeting with us, providing a hairdryer, fixing the toilet, replacing the Keurig, and delivering gas for the grill. We were very disappointed
