“Always clean and tidy”

“​We had a fantastic stay at Oxley Court Apartments. The first thing you notice is the incredible amount of space—it’s much larger than your standard hotel room. The apartment was spotless, well-maintained, and had a fully equipped kitchen which made our stay very comfortable. ​The location in Griffith is perfect: quiet and leafy, but only a short walk to the shops and dining in Kingston and Manuka. Free parking was a huge bonus. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a "home away...

“Good place to stay if you need a kitchen and room to move. Apartments have a full-size kitchen with hot plates, oven, fridge etc. There’s plenty of space for luggage, toys, travel cots etc. There’s heating/cooling in every room (split system), which works out well for Canberra summers and winters. Only downside is that the apartment is clearly uninsulated and becomes unbearably hot if you’re on the top floor. Of course, you can always turn the A/C on, but it just feels so wasteful!”

“OMG this place is so amazing. Five star all the way. We stayed in Lemur room 2 and they hung out mostly on our side. Food was out of this world. Staff are so accommodating and friendly. The zoo is amazing and the tour in the morning was so good. The young man was so great and I cannot explain how beautiful this was. I would love to go back again. xxxx”

“We often stay at the Statesman because it presents good value, is clean and tidy, and the rooms are comfortable! On this particular stay we had the one bedroom apartment and it’s fantastic! Well appointed, very quiet, and spacious.”

“Buena opción en Canberra. Habitaciones amplias, cómodas y silenciosas. Cada día que no pides renovar las toallas te dan 10$ australianos para canjear en el restaurante anexo al propio hotel. Creo que deberían reembolsarlo como opción si no quieres consumir en ese restaurante. Saludos. ”

“My 1st visit the room was spotless but 2nd visit it smelled so bad was hard to stay and the carpet stained. I give 5 stars as the staff are friendly, accomodating, helpful and amazing from reception to bar, to chef to waiting staff. I haven't met the cleaning staff but I have done this type of work in the past and always appreciative, that is why I strip beds, fold dirty towels and empty rubbish bins. I hope to be given the same respect and I'll visit again surely:)”
