“Met some friends for a girls weekend and had an amazing time. We all loved the location and the amenities. We did not leave at all. Views of the lake are stunning. It was on a quiet section of the lake and there were no houses directly across. The screen in porch with rocking chairs were perfect for morning coffee. It was also awesome to have a table out there to eat and have space for activities. I also was able to see a blue heron catch a fish while sitting on the porch. The inside dining room...

“We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the home. It was incredibly peaceful and spotless, making it easy to truly relax and enjoy our time away. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish- clear, prompt, and very helpful. They were also very flexible and accommodating, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend this house and will definitely stay here again!”

“Perfect house for a group of 7 adults. Lots of comfy seating inside and out on the deck and dock. Well stocked with oil, spices, etc. Master bed was very comfortable. Other beds were OK. Dock area is small and not deep water. That didn't matter to us since we went in September. Wifi was very slow but we had 5 people trying to work so more our fault than the house. Overall, an excellent Lake Gaston rental. ”

“NOTHING like described online… outdated & old. First the key card reader didn’t work. Staff had to escort me to the room because he couldn’t make me a key. Get to the room the toilet was broken and tied together with a shoe string, sheets had a cigarette burn hole on my bed, the accent chair in the corner was beyond gross & filthy, discolored, and it entire place smelled awful! Moth balls in the corner of my room. I could not even bring myself to bring my belongings in the room or to even spend...

“This property should be removed from Vrbo’s listings. As other reviews have stated, the rental is filthy, full of broken furniture/appliances, and has several unsafe areas. We spent the first day and a half of our stay, cleaning the place. It is clear that this property has not been inspected or maintained for cleanliness in a long time. This is not the result of one careless guest. This is complete neglect.The home has cobwebs, stuck on grease, dirt buildup, bugs, and mold in multiple areas....

“This is an amazing property. The home is beautiful and sits on a quiet cove just off the main lake. The amenities were plentiful, including a new outdoor pool that we thoroughly enjoyed, games, floats, water toys and a large dock that easily accommodated our boat. The location is perfect - near restaurants and grocery stores. The host, Jenn, could not have been better. She was wonderful to work with, and we would highly recommend this home!!”
