“As usual I received a warm welcome from the friendly reception staff and as usual the room was well presented and clean. The Staff who clean the rooms do an excellent job and I really appreciated the fresh towels daily and the replenished coffee and tea and milk. I have no hesitation in recommending this Motel to anyone who requires a stay in Manukau. There’s everything you need on your doorstep too! Thanks Manukau Motor Lodge!”

“Nice room but on the smaller size. Small fridge but no freezer included, so unable to freeze ice packs. Restaurant/bar/pub one step from rooms. Short walk to downtown streets and grocery store.”

“It was not clear on any of the booking that I had to additionally pay a $100 upon arrival. I had booked a double bed room and got two singles.”

“Great place to stay while visiting Matakana. 10/10 would stay again.”

“Luxury ”

“Very modern and stylish large property. Very private with fantastic indoor/outdoor living, both upstairs and down. Great pool and spa complex with numerous pool accessories for both children and adults. Huge kitchen and dining area, all modern appliances. All bathrooms are large and very luxurious. If you are looking for luxury accommodation for a large family or group of friends, this is the place. A very enjoyable stay overall.”

“Mike was very helpful with communications and the house was just perfect. Lovely amenities and great basic supplies in the pantry.”

“Stunning location, well appointed, clean and modern self-catering suites. Lovely, professional management. ”

“It was clean but quite rundown and small. Bathroom needs a bit of tlc and an outdoor sensor light so its easier to find your way from the carport to the house.”
