“Dawn and David have created a resort feel without the crowds. We stayed in their Jungalow for three nights celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. It was cozy and the views spectacular! We were able to reserve the hot tub through their scheduling app which worked great.We love to bird watch and were even provided birdseed to fill the feeder right outside the large windows to watch them up close. Good location for visiting Haleakalā. Highly recommend!! Well done Dawn and David!!”

We saw deer walking a trail right underneath the deck and of course there are lots of chickens and roosters! “We spent two nights at the property. We’re so glad we had extra time in Hana. We really enjoyed the covered porch with the nice breeze. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we appreciated the extra touches like having a jar of local coffee and the coffee presses. I was pleasantly surprised by the water pressure and the wonderful hot water from the solar system! And the outside shower was fantastic! If we’re ever lucky enough to come back to Hana, we would definitely stay here again. ”

“Exceptional! Our host Elaine was an amazing host and checked in on us regularly throughout our stay. She went out of her way to make our check in process easier, even in the dark. Very thoughtful. “Overall, a wonderful and different Maui experience. Our only issue with the accommodation was the comfort of the beds (small, with a firm older mattress) and the sitting options. The couch was so uncomfortable it was unusable and the chairs weren't much better. These are easy fixes and despite this, we would absolutely stay here again. ”

“An unbelievable and very unique setting. Although not on the beach ,it is a 2 mile drive to one of the best beaches. The facility is truly a Villa with a front and backyard one of which has a private, (to the renter) saltwater swimming pool. “We had an amazing stay in upcountry Maui. The cottage was super clean, well-stocked and exactly as described. We loved the location, a very peaceful, rural countryside vibe. Loved the cats, we could see deer, sheep and of course chickens! If you want a quiet peaceful stay away from the crowds I would highly recommend.”
