Wonderful visit to the most charming A frame cabin secluded in the mountains of Ridgway. We visited Telluride and Ouray and all agreed that we were so happy to actually be staying in this perfect spot up in Ridgway. Beautiful view of the San Juan mountains and central location to all the hiking we had planned for the area. Cabin itself was perfect for our needs. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfy, library was a dream, and my teen twins loved the binoculars and the banjo! We will certainly look to stay here again. We had one small hiccup on our last night with the hot water and the management company was a breeze to work with. Very professional and very accommodating. Thank you for such a memorable visit!

Excellent mountain experience

The property was amazing and everything that the listing showed. Very private cabin on the ridge. Everything worked! Multiple grills onsite for meals! The only minor issue is when arriving, there is another house immediately when you turn onto the property. Maybe I missed it, but it would be good to have in the welcome packet to proceed past the first house.

Everything you need

Everything you need and clean and location - beyond stellar. When we got to property we didn’t have correct check in information but I called the number provided and in the first ring they answered and we were in! Which is rare when those types of things happen so thank you!!I did like the space the only thing to add was it is an odd layout. And the lower bathroom toilet didn’t work the entire time we were there. But we were out everyday exploring so not a huge deal! Plus upstairs toilet was fine! I do think the staircase should be included in details - able and fit and still nervous about them since they fold up and down and the top handrails don’t connect so at the highest point there is a 2’ gap. Lastly the only shower in the place is an amazing view and also a jacuzzi bathtub but the curb height to get into even take a shower … even my sister at 5’7” could not comfortably step in the tub to shower. So myself at 5’2” we would joke I was about to go hurdling to get in. Again, for my adventure it was fine but a little different than anticipated overall.

Perfect rustic cabin with AMAZING views!

Our stay was incredible. The location and views for this small, functional, and cute cabin was perfect! In fact, there are views from every room - It was easy to just stop and take 15 minutes at any time throughout the day to just watch the mountains change with the light and weather. The cabin was in great shape - no major complaints at all! Functional and cozy, just what we wanted! The bedroom was large enough and well provisioned, but this is still an older cabin so keep that in mind. But that is what we loved and wanted! Everything we wanted to make meals and hang out were there. We'll likely be coming back when it's time to get away to the San Juans and Colorado again!

Incredible view, but maintenance is needed

The setting and views from this cabin are spectacular! Great mattresses and bedding. But unfortunately there are a lot of little issues that took away from our experience, especially for the price. The cabin has an AWFUL smell, which the owners claim is from old wood. Our guess is mildew or a dead animal under the floor boards.Their dishwasher didn’t work, and they knew it considering there was an unused tablet in it already. There’s only 3 coffee cups and most of their wine glasses were filthy or cracked and not usable. We were very disappointed, and contacting them during our stay did nothing.

Beautiful mountain views from the back porch

Enjoyed our 3 night stay here in late May. No snow on the road and was easy to drive up to cabin from entrance. Beds were comfortable, kitchen very well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils , cookware, etc. Hot tub was nice to relax in after hiking in the Black canyon area. Would stay here again if we return to the area.

Stunning views!

Beautiful location in a very quiet setting. BBQ was great to have. Kitchen had plenty of pots, utensils, etc. A little tricky finding it, (the Google lady was confused). Otherwise everything was wonderful!

We had a great day. The management company was super helpful and trying to get us in a little bit early so my daughter-in-law could work. It actually didn’t really happen, but they certainly tried. My only comments would be that the photos of the house were a little deceiving it was much smaller than I thought, but we had a great time very much. Enjoyed our day.

Beautiful Scenery

We had a great time staying there! The property is gorgeous and the linens are top notch. The hot tub was hot and wonderful in the snow. The view from the deck and the rooms is incredible! It was hard to locate the place and getting there is difficult in the snow. However, we had 4 wheel drive and made it without incident. Called the property management company and after some driving around they got us to the right place. Overall, I loved the place and it was an incredible break away from the city!

Weekend trip

Loved the location and property. Only problem we had was gps navigation took us to what appeared to be a neighboring house and the driveway for the cabin was unmarked. Some sort of signage at the driveway entrance would have been very helpful. Instead we ended up going down the wrong driveway and had to call the management company. The lady had to direct us by looking at an aerial map so it was not a pleasant experience arriving. That aside, we had a great time!

Perfect mountain getaway

I really enjoyed this little cabin tucked away in the mountains. The cabin had everything needed. Hot tub view was incredible. Close drive to amenities and hikes. Highly recommend for a single, couple or small family.
