“Staying at this property was so much fun. So many interesting things to look at, the staff were great (the hostage was a clever touch) the food was yummy. This property is full of history. I stayed in the jury room, the room was nicely decorated and the 2 beds (one mattress a bit firmer that the other) were different but both very comfortable. I had the best sleep in years. The room had a great view of the harbour, the mill and the concrete ships, The transom over the door in the room let...

“Check-in via lockbox was smooth and easy. I came to Powell River for work and I left before staff arrived and came back after they had gone for the day, but I didn’t need any assistance from them. My room was overall perfect for a work trip. The bathroom was nice and had lots of towels and sundries, the bed was comfortable, wifi was strong. I appreciated the ample storage space for luggage and clothes and it was also a bonus that I had a mini fridge in my room. The only thing I would note is...

“The host was pleasant. The location of the property was ok, the view was excellent. But, the property was misrepresented and was not a “luxury private villa “, instead it was a basement suite in a shared home. Unfortunately, the property inside and outside was poorly maintained. The black mold, pink mold, grease, hair, dust bunnies, and finger prints on windows and appliances was unhealthy. Lack of mattress covers, top sheets, fitted sheets was disappointing. Definitely not worth the money and...

“Ocean front retreat was a wonderful memory for us to stay. Enjoyed every corner of the vacation home. The hot tube was easy to access, a lot of mosquitoes around 9pm, if you can, book a bit early. Sunset on the beach was beautiful. The curtain fail off on the 2 rd day when we are cooking, reported to landlord, she was easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.”

“This cabin was extremely overpriced for what it is and the time of year. This is our only complaint. This is a 100 per night cabin max in late October. It is a cabin that has a out house toilet and no kitchen. We feel ripped off.”
