LATE MARCH STAY
NICE HOUSE. WOULD DEFFINATELY VISIT AGAIN BUT NEXT TIME IN THE SUMMER. TOO EARLY IN THE YEAR TO ENJOY THE LAKE. GREAT NEIGHBORHOOD AND FRIELDLY PEOPLE IN THE AREA.

Lots of space for people
Very nice place with plenty of room for a large family. Lots of beds and rooms for people to sleep and have privacy. Huge dining room and table for a large amount of people. Great views of the lake and surrounding area. Perfect place for a large gathering!!!!

Perfect house for our big group!
The dining room table is what sold us on this property! All 20 of us could sit down together for a meal, with a gorgeous view of the lake! A lovely, spacious, well-furnished house (3 refrigerators!) ... great theater room, shuffleboard, pool table and bar downstairs ... easy access to an incredible dock ... plenty of storage space .... This place worked beautifully for us.

Very comfortable
We celebrated an anniversary event with 25 family members of all ages. Common areas are huge. Sleeping arrangements allowed for families to have their own space. Preteens enjoyed the bunk bed area with their cousins. Many hours were spent swimming off the enormous dock. The kitchen was used to cook large family meals. The large downstairs rec room featured games and even a message chair! We also showed family videos on the projection tv in the Theater Room. Would highly recommend.

Loved this property!
Property offers all that you need for a wonderful stay. We had 18 people to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary/family vacation. The house offers enough seating for a large group, enough space so everyone isn’t on top of one another, and indoor activities if the weather isn’t great. Everyone had a blast. Highly recommend!

Johnson Family Spring Break Vacation
This home was perfect for our family. We wanted to treat our parents to a retreat that included all of their children, grand’s and great grand’s - the home was just right and accommodating. We had a movie night, game night, and grilled during the day. The view of the lake was breathe taking and was my Dads favorite part. Rachel made the end to end process a breeze and was only a call away if we needed anything.

Large Home - ready for your group (Just Be careful)
Overall this property is a nice property and has plenty of room for your group. They went a long way to create as many sleeping areas as possible turning every available space to bedrooms. Not a lot of privacy available but your with a big group..

Jacob, I know that you were happy with our home but upset about being charged for breaking one of our chairs. I chose one that was similar to it but cost less than half the cost of the original chair as documented in the receipts I sent you. Christmas Getaway
Great stay and the place is huge! more than enough space to go around and then some. Wish it was a little warmer so we could enjoy the lake but the hot tub was a nice touch. Not to mention the breathtaking views!! Hosts were very nice and accommodating, they even helped us with an issue we had during dawn hours. Very nice person and even more awesome stay! Will recommend

Beautiful house with a amazing features
We rented this property for a family gathering for a few days, it was a beautiful experience, we made some great memories in this property. The house is well taken care of, the fishing dock is very clean/convenient, the features on this house are amazing, specially the theater and the entertaining room, Hot tub was very clean and beautiful, thank you for renting it out to us, we had a blast, if you're looking for a big, beautiful house for a family reunion or a place to get away... this is the place. Ladies Golf Trip at the Lake
This place is great. So spacious. The kitchen/dining/family room area are so large and all us ladies could dine at the same time at the super long dining table. The side deck is very nice. And the table and chairs on the dock were great for enjoying the sunset and the evening lake view and gazing at the stars. We used the firepit and that was nice too! Parking was good. The location is off the beaten path but worked out for what we came down there to do...golf!

Even better than we hoped!
Rachel the manager had already solved the few problems we had read in previous reviews. She was super responsive to our questions in advance by email. And the two times we called her during our stay, Rachel took our calls right away and helped wonderfully!

Wonderful long weekend
We spent 3 nights at this house and it was a great, fun get away! Pulled the boat out from home for the extra space in the dock. It isn't a slip but it makes it nice to have a place to park it on the water under a roof. A great bonus! It made it easy to go out on the lake any time we wanted. It is quite a ways away from the main lake traffic, which is a huge bonus, much calmer waters and less traffic. We had a terrific long weekend! Manager was quick to respond and easy to work with before and during our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Family Reunion
We have been having reunions for 30 years and this is by far the best place we have stayed. We have a big family and this is the first time we have all stayed under the same roof and ate at the same table! Family vacation
We absolutely loved the house. We had our six grown kids, their spouses, 9 grandkids and Great Grandma and Grandpa come and everyone had an absolute blast! The kids never came in out of the water and the adults loved the Theater room! We will definitely be coming back!!

Great Property!
This property was a great fit for our annual vacation which is a large group made up of multiple families. The house was well stocked and there was plenty of room for all the kids and teens to have their own space too. The multi-zoned A/Cs, double oven, multiple refrigerators, large dining space, kayaks, and paddle board were a huge plus with a group this large. The theater room was a big hit too. The property manager was also fantastic and reached out to us repeatedly during our stay to see if we needed anything or had any questions. The only downside was having to paddle out to do a daily cleaning of the anchored maui pad from the birds who used it as a rest stop. Overall, we loved this place and will definitely consider coming back for a future vacation.

Beautiful home
Beautiful lake home. Check in took a while to get the access code, but otherwise good stay. Tons of amenities and household items...extra blankets, toilet paper, trash bags. Internet is very slow and tv was hard to get to work in things like Netflix, but just forced everyone to socialize! Would stay again.

I am glad you like the home and had time to socialize. We have only one choice for an internet provider at that home and we have been using it for the last 9 years. The internet is up 99% of the time and has download speeds adequate to watch Netflix or other streaming services. We called the provider on your behalf, but apparently that had outage of service in both Missouri and Illinois due to storms. We are sorry if this impacted your stay.

Retirement Celebration
We thoroughly enjoyed the views, fishing, kayaking, swimming and theatre room. The only drawback is you must walk through three of the bedrooms to get to the additional beds. We were fine with this because we did not have the maximum occupancy. It does show this in the pictures, but just want to highlight this as privacy could be compromised. The kitchen was well stocked, you will need to bring your own hand held mixer (which we did), as there is not one that we saw. The owners/vrbo liaision were very helpful and kind.

A little disappointed
First of all I will say the property is gorgeous, and the amount of space in this home is amazing. I was only there for a short visit, checking in on Saturday and leaving on Tuesday am, and I say that because maybe that was the reason for a few of the issues. We had 6 teenage boys in our group, some 18 some 16. I didn’t allow my sons to pack their game systems because it stated they had them there, they were not there, so that was disappointing. The microwave did not work, and the dishwasher didn’t work( the door on it would not even close). I contacted the property manager and I did get a quick response back and she said she would get maintenance out the next day ( no one came). You do not realize how much you rely on a microwave until you have one that doesn’t work. Cooking 3 meals a day, you spend a lot of time doing dishes. The boys went out and used to deck and loved it, they fished, did some magnet fishing. They also wanted to kayak, and as we tried to figure out how to get to them , I asked the property manager, was informed that those are put out according to weather, and at 60 something degrees, we weren’t given access to those. I like the way everything was marked for light switches and such, with the property as large as this it was very helpful. On the clip board with the main room tv information and check out information, in lists to make sure of it stated to make sure the 3d glasses and movies were put back and accounted for. We were very disappointed to see this, bc although on the main movies available they didn’t see anything they wanted to see, they felt if they had a option to see something 3d they would have, but this was not available to us as well. My husband and I have rentals, and I take reviews very seriously, but I have to say I was just a bit disappointed, with the money that was spent for this house , I think we maybe should have been told before that some of the things in pictures and advertised would not be available the weekend we were going to be there, because for us it would have made a big difference, we took our search down to only properties with kayaks. This is a wonderful property, and hopefully kitchen issues are being repaired. As far as the rest of the things I hope they learn not to assume when people are going to use things, or change the add so people are not expecting things to be there. The house itself was sooo well stocked, everything we needed was easy to find. Christy

Great escape
Property as described. We stayed in early March so couldn't enjoy the water. Had fun with gaming area, theater room and hot tub. Top rack of dishwasher would not stay on track and made it hard to close the dishwasher - this would be easy to fix by owners. Had a hard time with electronic keypad but could just be user error. Recommend this property!!!

Nice Lake Home
We stayed in January and didn't need the boat dock. The views of sunsets were great. House was large enough for our big family and grandchildren. Several bedrooms have a smaller sleeping space adjacent to them, thus one must walk through one bedroom to get to the other. The kitchen has several small appliances. Please ask before bringing a lot to this home. The numerous vintage family photos in every room was a different way of decorating a lake home. It must have been loved well by past generations. The pages of "rules" must be necessary for summer party renters? We've stayed in seveal VRBO's and haven't delt with this before. There was a small white box with a red light in the upper corner of the master bedroom. My husband assured me it was some type of motion sensor. This lake home is located 20+ minutes from shopping or restaurants. This wasn't a drawback for our family because we brought most of what we needed with us! Overall, this home met our needs.

Lake house getaway
This property was lovely, well-furnished, and gave a great time for our four generation family Christmas gathering. Ample space to spread out, lots of activities. Kitchen was well-stocked with several extra griddles, crockpots, refrigerators, etc. It is a bit of a drive off the main road (hwy 54) so just keep that in mind if planning activities not at the house. Property mgr Keyla was wonderful to communicate with!

Thanksgiving Family Event
What a wonderful facility for a large family get together. So many opportunities to keep every age group entertained. The house is completely outfitted with everything needed. Such a beautiful, peaceful location. The adults all commented on how much we enjoyed the theater room while the younger ones played video games, pool and shuffleboard. No one was ever bored. We celebrated our thanksgiving there and it was perfect with a table that seated everyone. Loved everything about this place.

This was a lovely place; spacious and beautiful. The house was so convenient. We had a men's retreat here with about 16 guys. We all fit comfortably; some of the rooms advertised single beds which were really futons etc., but that wasn't a problem for us. Enjoyed everything.

Perfect for a large group
We really enjoyed our stay. There aren’t many places that can comfortably accommodate our whole family but this house did so with ease. The kitchen was fully equipped to handle a large group and there were even enough parking spaces. There was something to keep all ages busy. It was a great experience and the host was fantastic to work with.

Family Vacation
We stayed in this house mid-July for a family vacation/reunion. There was a total of 22 of us that ended up staying there. Positives: The house is VERY big. We all agreed that we never “felt” 22 people were there at any given time. The dock was very large and was great to swim off of. The house had a lot of amenities that I felt a lot of VRBOs do not supply; extra toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher soap, beach towels, paper towels and so on. The kitchen is FULLY stocked with everything you need to cook, I actually would suggest the homeowner/management company to supply a list of items that are in the pantry area, that way people aren’t bringing the same items that are supplied. Keyla was very easy to communicate with and answers phone calls or text messages in a timely manner. Negatives: I’m sad to say some of the negatives really had an impact on our stay. I would also like to say Keyla was made aware of the negatives and did send a maintenance man out to fix some of the problems. Were the problems fixed, no, but I do appreciate she sent someone out. 1. ANTS EVERYWHERE. Now were there ants inside, not a ton, but you can tell that may have been an issue since there are ant baits near all the doors. Were there ants on the outside tables and did it ruin eating outside - YES! Just to let you know, we are lake people. We are a family of outdoorsy people and understand ants/nature can be unpredictable, but when we complained of the ants the answer was “we have it sprayed twice a month”. Our honest opinion, it needs to be sprayed weekly. 2. Water pressure. The top floor was awful, the bathroom was basically useless if anyone was doing anything with water. There actually was a time someone was in the shower and couldn’t rinse conditioner out of their hair because the water was DRIPPING out of the shower head. To advertise a bathroom that doesn’t work is not okay. The middle floor wasn’t as bad, but again if anyone was doing anything with water, even flushing a toilet, the shower went to minimal water coming out. Again we told Keyla, she sent someone out. The pressure was better when no one was using water, but was still awful when water was being used 3. Theater room. The remote did not work. Yes we were made aware of it, but it made it VERY difficult to use the room for movies. Sadly the negatives were so bad we will not be returning to this VRBO.

Wonder Family Reunion Vacation
We loved the home and all of its ammenities! The dock with lily pad, water toys with jet ski slips and room for us to dock 3 boats was fantastic! There was plenty of seating at the house and at the dock that made it enjoyable to gather. Evenings were awesome with the theater room, pool table, shuffle board and fooseball. We highly recomend this home for your getaway!
