“The house was absolutely freezing when we arrived, downstairs bedrooms smelled of damp. It took hours for the house to warm up and the kitchen and front downstairs bedroom didn’t ever warm up. The heating should have been set to come on so that it was warm before our expected arrival.There are draughts coming in around the windows in the kitchen, you can’t be in this room without the log burner on, Cold air comes down the fireplace in bedroom 1 which has a sheet stuffed up it to no effect, it...

“The place was great. Clean, as advertised and sufficient kitchen utilities. The area is very close to the cathedral and the other touristy places. We had an old person with us, otherwise one could walk to most places from here. The host was also very helpful sending us clear instructions through the app.”
