“This is such a wonderfully old and beautiful pub, with restaurant and great rooms. The few rooms they have are all named so you know which room you will be getting when you book. We had the Gold Room and it was so lovely! A lady behind the bar greeted us and showed us to our room. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. “Check in easy, location fabulous. Bed comfortable - we slept really well - must be the sea air! The extra touches for our furry friend were spot on - doggy bowls and doggy treats were most welcome. “Typisch britisch, kleines Cottage , gemütlich .Nicht geeignet für ältere , da die Treppe zu den Schlafzimmern sehr steil ist .Darauf sollte man achten …Ansonsten sehr schön , in der Nähe kann man gleich einkaufen und in wenigen Kilometern erreicht man rye , welches man unbedingt besuchen sollte .”

“Suitable for our weekend locally. Unfortunately there was an issue with the bathroom drains which sent a sewage type smell around, if the bathroom door was closed then it was fairly isolated to the bathroom, but if you wanted to enter the room to use the loo, shower or brush your teeth then we were all retching. We were told by the owner that someone was coming out to check it out, but this either didn’t happen or was not rectified whilst we were out for the day. ”
